As a long time Mary fan and researcher, I can undoubtedly say that this song sums up where Mary fought so hard to end up.... somewhere between classic rock and soul, and reality and peace.

Mary has been my favorite female artist since the early 90's. I'm thankful God has blessed her career with so much longevity.

these lyrics choke me every time so much beauty in words.

when I first heard this song, I was going through a very rough time in my marriage the beginning of 2008...I played this song faithfully several times a day it spoke so many measures of what I needed to say to my husband It helped me get through most of it and prayer did the rest!! Needless to say, three years later we have mended the relationship and are going strong...I know our heavenly father had a lot to do with it, but this song found the words I was searching for in my heart! God Bless

I had never heard of Mary when by chance I saw her doing a 3 minute piece to camera at Abbey Road on how she came to write this song. I was captivated at once by her sincerity and by how this song was torn from her personal experience of pain and a desire for reconciliation. I was not even planning to watch the performance that followed, but I thought that if she can be this engaging just talking about the song.....I did listen and I was not disappointed.
