I love this tune. I think maybe by virtue of the fact that "Ain't No Mountain" was such a mega-hit, this one has such a cool underdog-type vibe. Such musical 5-bar motown phrases, and James Jamerson weaves the most perfect path through it all. It was a pleasure to lift this one.
Also, I tried out the GruvGear "FUMP" to get the muted tone. It's the little clamp you can see right above the bridge. Kind of almost worked?
