Well he was playable except in this game and Marvel Super Heroes, the only times we see him in Marvel Super Heroes is in Psylocke's Ending as well as Wolverine's Ending.

War Machine is the better character than Iron Man in MVC2. Iron Man was the waste of slot since he is just handicapped War Machine in terms of what he can do.

Interestingly, in the Marvel side, only Jubilee is yet to appear in a fighting game. In the Capcom side, only Shadow, Arthur, Saki and Anita have been playable in a fighting game.

It’s so much easier to hear what some of the Capcom side of these partners are saying now, though I’m not really sure what Michelle Heart and Ton Pooh said. Kind of unfortunate that the only ones that were playable in ANY of the old VS series, and for that matter COTA and MSH were mostly from the Marvel side. Jubilee would have been the perfect counterpart to Sakura in X-Men vs Street Fighter.

I agree; Thor would’ve been great as a playable character in the 1st and 2nd MvC. I would’ve teamed him up with Dhalsim and called them “Yoga Thunder”!

I like how the majority of special partners on the Marvel side are characters from X-Men.

yeah it kills me that Thor never got to be playable in any of the 2D era Marvel vs Capcom games, it sucks even more knowing he had a fully made sprite and everything only to be relegated to an assist character.

I always found Anita an interesting character in Darkstalkers and her appearances in Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel Vs. Capcom. Too bad Donovan or her were playable characters in MVC2 and beyond 😭!

I really wish the other games had this.

I will never understand why they weren't made as playable characters in this one.

Of those characters in the selection, Arthur and Thor became real characters from the plot in 3, there is also an extensive amount of cards in UMvsC3 showing which characters may or may not appear. These are future plans for the normal franchise, if capcom and marvel don't rule out any. If the rumors of the new MvsC4 are true these characters above may be included maybe and have from the UMvsC3 cards.

OMEGA-P _74 There are codes for that. It's done by holding certain buttons. You can Google them.

At least Saki's playable in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. We need those other helper capcom fighters possibly in Capcom vs. SNK 3 or... Capcom Fighting Evolution 2.

Miechele Heart: the correct way to spell her name as its in-game. Me: dumbfounded and I played Legendary Wings and was wanting Don (from Don’t Pull) as an assistant in this game.

I swear that there's a hidden one that summons all characters briefly. Happened once during Onslaught fight.
