I agree 100% we need a roster like MVC2 just one huge roster with alot of verity and plz not like mvci the one thing that always got me mad was there was more Marvel then Capcom characters both sides should be even when it comes to characters

@@Kira_Johan honestly gonna keep my expectations to mvc3 level, new game some returning characters mainly the popular ones some new ones with some obscure ones for some spice but the quality of it remains the same with no restrictive marvel characters and like you said one side having more then the other. I say this as 2 was one of the last games that did sprites before capcom went 3d models (which i feel like if 4 did it exist they would do that) and it's kind of a known thing they would be re-using the same 2d sprites over and over again and it was fine mostly other then 1 or 2 sprites looking a little outdated then some of the others and this lead to 2 being the biggest roster and it was more of archiving old tuff to reuse rather then dedicating it all for the one game

If there will be a new Marvel vs Capcom game then the roster should be as big as Smash Ultimate! It dosen't have to be "Everyone is Here" just bring back the UMVC3 roster, add some MVCI characters like Jedah, Capt. Marvel, Black Panther, Monster Hunter, add some MVC2 veterans like Cyclops and Megaman and add new blood like Shang Chi, Nico Minoru, Elsa Bloodstone, Nero, Lady D, Luke and you are all set! I am praying for Disney's jealousy and envy at Nintendo's successful hits like Smash Ultimate, Super Nintendo World, and the Super Mario Movie to play a big part of this and see them as competition that gives Capcom a big budget.

100% . They’re aware how big of an audience UMVC3 still has (just look at those that enrolled at EVO last year). This another way of testing the water before going all out. They’re triple checking the market.

I’m 100% getting MvC Collection (physically) on Switch, and maybe later on Steam. Got to let Nintendo know I want as many Capcom games as possible on their platform, like Capcom vs SNK and MvC3.

After the character modeling in MVC 3 and Infinite, The only way back to good graces is to bring back the sprite characters instead of the bland 3d models. otherwise i would love to see more characters

I know it'll never happen bc how hated MvCI is, but the thought of that active tag gameplay with a roster closer to umvc3 would be hype.

Capcom vs DBZ

I'm all for it. Piracy's always going to be around but the best way to combat it is to just give people what they want and make legitimate copies of these games available to purchase and download for a reasonable price. People will still hold onto their illegal roms as a backup for potential compatibility, licensing, and support issues in the future but most people are willing to pay money for these games regardless.

I think it could. Marvel Infinite flopped because Disney said no X-Men since they didn't want to promote Fox's movies. Now that they are about to start going crazy with mutants in the MCU after Deadpool v Wolvy, putting out another MVC seems like a good strat

the blame could be be directed at marvel itself, as for a years they've tried silently removing the x-men and Fantastic Four from it entirely from merch, comics (killing all of them or just writing them off) and shows until when fox was bought they then came back like nothing happened. people believe wolverine and x-men was cancelled because of disney but it was actually them struggling to get the show as a in-house project due to resource management. it could be a catalyst effect where they saw the success of disney's partnership they tried to cut ties to anything else themselves

Button lay outs should be similar to the Mortal Kombat and Injustice button layouts! Meaning Ryu’s Haduken should be “down, forward + punch” rather than “qcd + punch”. Prevents blisters for people who prefer a D-Pad rather than an arcade stick. Also, Jean Grey/Phoenix/Dark Phoenix should return as a bonus boss after the final boss along with other good characters turning into their evil selves after the final boss fight, when certain conditions are met. Dark Phoenix, Shin Akuma, and the other altered characters should actually steal the infinity stones and be 10 times stronger than their playable selves. For example, players can still play as Dark Phoenix but that Dark Phoenix won’t be as strong as their version that steals the Infinity Stones from the Final Boss. The version of Dark Phoenix that steals the Infinity Stones is the Bonus Boss character that the player would have to face. All characters from previous Marvel vs Capcom games (except Abyss, Bone Claw Wolverine, that Japanese guy in MSHvSF, and Servbot) should all return as playable characters even as DLC. Marvel vs Capcom 4 should be about the story modes for all MvC games starting from X-Men vs Street Fighter and up to Marvel vs Capcom Infinite organized in acts and chapters. The final act should be the story after Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. The final boss should be about Thanos and how he ends up taking the Infinity Stones. Infinity Stones should only belong with a stronger version of Thanos (who should be the Final Boss of this game) as part of his move set instead. Not all characters will have alternate versions of themselves. So if the team consists of Jean Grey/Phoenix, Akuma, and Ryu (all 3 characters that have alternate versions of themselves), the player would have the option to choose 2 characters (for example, let’s say the player selects Ryu and Jean Grey). Then there would be a cut scene where Akuma becomes Shin Akuma (or Oni) and steals the Infinity Stones, becoming a much more powerful character that has all the moves of the Infinity Stones. If 2 characters out of 3 have alternate personalities (a team such as Akuma, Cammy, and Jean Grey) then the character that has no alternate personalities will immediately be selected (Cammy) while the player chooses between the 2 characters with alternate personalities (between Akuma and Jean Grey). If player chooses 2 characters that have no alternate versions of themselves (such as Cammy and Cyclops) and one character that has an alternate version of themselves (Jean Grey/Phoenix), then the cutscene for Jean Grey becoming Dark Phoenix and stealing the Infinity Stones immediately occurs as the player would have to use Cyclops and Cammy to fight the AI generated Dark Phoenix (bonus boss battle). New characters should be…. * Elektra (Marvel) * Daredevil (Marvel) * Kamala Khan (Marvel) * Scarlet Witch (Marvel) * Loki (Marvel) * Blade (Marvel) * Leon Kennedy (Capcom) [Can have Ada Wong and Claire Redfield assist him as part of his moveset.] * Juli and Juni (Capcom) * Sagat (Capcom) * Asura (Capcom) * Juri (Capcom) * Rose (Capcom) [With Menat assisting her in the moveset.] * Gill (Capcom) * Mysterio (Marvel) Super moves should be as powerful as the super moves in Marvel Future Fight (especially the moves of the Dark Phoenix).

MVC4 needs to have everyone from COTA all the way to Infinite. Even include an arcade mode similar to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition. Have all stages, songs, and remade endings for arcade mode and a story mode. Have a choose your side mode similar to MK VS DC. Have ratio, single match, 3-on-3 modes from Capcom VS SNK2 and even 2-on-2 mode. That street level and that other level would be great for atmosphere. Imagine having dynamic stages like day/night transitions similar to SF3 and stage transitions similar to X-Men: Next Dimension and DBZ Budokai series. Have x mansion have a stage transition to fight in the c hanger, the inside mansion, and the swimming pool and basketball court. Another one is grand central station and it transitions to the subway to alleyways. And Peter’s apartment goes to streets and the daily bugle. They are examples of stages. And add 1p vs CPU mode.

Marvel Vs Capcom 4 is Marvel VS Capcom Infinite in 2017. And..... Marvel VS Capcom 5 is Marvel VS Capcom X - The Return of Heroes to be set by 2026 on June,11,2026 for the release date.

I think we'll see a Capcom vs. SNK Collection or even a port of MvC3 first before a MvC4. The point is that Capcom had made progress with their proprietary Dreamcast emulator that now it is very possible to emulate CvS2.

I wouldn’t mind paying dlc for new characters(as long they’re well made)

My team for MvC2 will be Ken Jin and Venom who want the smoke

Unfortunately, Marvel vs. Capcom 4 will probably Never Happen, Marvel and Capcom do Not have a Good Relationship, like The Only Reason Deadpool got into Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was because Capcom fought for him, Same with X-23 and Shuma-Gorath, Marvel also were Toxic with Capcom on Dr. Strange's Hand Movements, In Fact, The Only Reason I Believe The MvC Collection is happening is because Capcom wanted to Remastered and Bring the Arcade games to Nex-Gen, It's also should noted that Capcom, while may not say it, do actually have some Respect for Namco Bandai, SNK and Even Ed Boon (I'm Not sure about Tatsunoko), That's also why I Believe Terry and Mai are in SF6, Sorry to Break your Hearts, but I Just don't Think Capcom really wants to do anything with Marvel again,

MvC 3 sucked, too slow and it had nothing the OG games did. I might be coming from nostalgia though .

more recent marvel games seem less like an imitation of the MCU and instead having more creative freedom. you can compare infinite and marvel's avengers to likes of Marvel rivals and midnight suns and it's somewhat noticeable
