I am SO glad they decided to go with the classic 90s incarnation of the X-Men comics and characters for this effort. The new stuff is muddled and confusing and weighed down with an emphasis on "othering" the X-Men to mirror social commentary (to a degree that puts the initial 1963 Civil Rights allegory to shame!). I just want to see the heroes be heroes, not body-cloning, bed-sharing yahoos with magic swords. Rant = Done. All that said, I have never been more excited for a board game.

Thinking about getting in on the kickstart. Does anyone know if get the core set can i add some of the add ons after the kickstarter ends on a later date?

Do you need to get both expansions or can you pick one and still play teams?

This is a little old can I just purchase the expansions directly from Kickstarter? I already bought the base game b4 I knew these existed and can't find expansions anywhere online.
