This is a play-through using Apocalypse in the Arcade version of Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter. Read on below for more information...
Apocalypse is the sub-boss in the game. He is a non-selectable character in this version of the game.
===== About Apocalypse =====
Famous Marvel cartoon villain who can change into a giant. Wonders around the world pretending to be a God because he can.
Gameplay-wise, in MSHvSF he gains a new Eye Beam move, which turns out to be one of his best moves. However he is still the very slow, clunky and static character he was in the prequel. All of his moves will leave him in a vulnerable position, which is understandable because he is a giant boss who cannot block. The satellite lasers (which are CPU-controlled) are probably his best moves. The Drill is excellent as well - providing that you catch the opponent with it. In MSHvSF, he has much lower life this time, which weakens him even more. Poor Apocalypse.

---- The unused Forcefield move appears to be an unfinished and unused move where he transforms his background arm and produces a small forcefield that lasts briefly. It does not affect the opponent in any way, even if there is 'contact'.
---- The unused Clamp move appears to be another unfinished and unused move where he transforms his front fist into a clamp, detaches from his arm and slides forward before transforming back to his fist and re-attaching to his arm. Opponents can go into the clamp and can even be pushed back by it, but it does not affect the opponent in any way.
---- If you reach the end of single-player mode and defeat Cyber-Akuma with Apocalypse, the game will lock and reset because he has not got a 'partner' or any jump-in and speech dialogue.
---- If you defeat one of the opposition characters, the music will stop, and there will be no more music for the rest of the match.
---- You must select Apocalypse as both your characters in order to play as him as a proper lone character (like the CPU boss version).
---- If you select Apocalypse with a normal character as his partner, the round will start early meaning his partner/opponent will be able to move even when Apocalypse hasn't finished his intro (where he rises from below). If Apocalypse gets stunned when he is rising, he'll be stuck in an infinite loop of his stun state. From here not even defeating him will progress the game, you need the Time Over to progress.
---- Same as above when you reach Cyber-Akuma in single-player mode.
---- If you select Apocalypse with a partner, only Apocalypse will show up in the fight. You won't be able to switch characters or do supports.
---- If you play an Apocalypse vs Apocalypse game, both will not have their main 'body' sprite.
---- During the Apocalypse vs CPU Apocalypse pre-fight dialogue, he uses Cyclop's dialogue.
---- As a giant-sized boss character, he appears on other backgrounds in a flawed manner.
---- There is some sort of flaw with MSHvSF Apocalypse where if he begins to perform a move (for example his Mace Thump) and the opponent can stun him during it, he will cancel and repeat that move again. This means that an opponent can keep repeating a combo that stuns him during a move, making Apocalypse repeat the same move over and over again until he's dead.
===== About MSHvSF =====
MSHvSF was created with too much "hype" and "company fanboyism". The roster is questionable, because aside from Cyber-Akuma and Norimaro (the latter being only available in the Japanese version), the rest of the roster are recycled from other games. The Capcom roster I think has too many shotos. The soundtrack however is new and is well-composed.
Nevertheless, it's a fun game all the same. Wolverine is a problem in this game though... it's ridiculous on just how utterly overpowered he is, lol.
