The problem in general with this community is that they want things to work the way they want for themselves. Scopely (And the Player's Voice) has to take into account how this impacts ALL levels of gameplay. It's very difficult to have balance for everyone but that is the goals that the PV has in mind so sometimes a particular individual may feel that it's not going "their way" and don't seem to understand that this is a game of progression and that solutions need to happen for all sorts of levels that may not seem beneficial to you individually.

@@kevincoplen1204I don’t think any F2P player expects the same as a spender. All they are expecting is to not get locked out of game modes because they don’t spend. That’s when a game becomes Pay to Play. Paying should get you and advantage (and it does if you buy the characters or the passes you’ll generally have a few months leg up on any F2P player) so I don’t think any F2P player is entitled enough to think they should have the same as a spender.

@@kevincoplen1204 No, they don't. The reason this Captain Britain release is bothering everyone is that it's the first character that can't be earned F2P on release. Even the DD characters can be attained free to play on release since the gear requirements are attainable (painfully, but still attainable). CB is straight up Ray Liotta from Goodfellas, "F... you, pay me." Spending should be the express lane of game play, not a private road. What if they decide that to get into Battle World, you need to have five Epic toons unlocked? Should the F2P players not be upset about that because they don't pay for the game?

Hey man, excellent comment I don't fundamentally disagree with what you said. But Scopely is a business they have to make money. We don't have to pay the luxury tax if we don't want to. The player voice is there to help calibrate things for the community as a whole. It's there for us. I am curious though how would you suggest we approach the problem?
