Always appreciate you giving Select figs some love. Most of the other reviewers tend to ignore them, which is a damn shame because most of them are pretty great.

Hell yeh love diamond select, these still believe in painting their figs instead of pumping it out of swirly plastic. Articulation is hit or miss but I don’t play with my toys or do photography so yeh.

The issue is articulation, but very mainly the scale. Any character that isn’t supposed to be noticeably bigger than others just doesn’t fit with the vast majority of other superhero figures out there,

This is the first time I've noticed it called Immortal Hulk. Would have liked an Immortal head with the heavy brow and short hair and chunky teeth

I agree. Devil/Immortal Hulk has a very distinct look to him and this one just has a classic look and Cosmic Hulk as his options.

The second head sculpt is based on that Cosmic Hulk Character. This robot construct of the Hulk was created as a misguided experiment by two students at the Maryland Institute of Technology and inadvertently brought to "life" by exposure to cosmic energy from the Eternals' Uni-Mind. The construct ran amok in a nearby city, killing several people and causing massive property damage.

Jack Kirby created that idea because he didn't want to use the "real" Hulk in that story.

@@alandoane9168 Then what does it have anything to do with the immortal hulk? He has that frankenstein monster hair with more monkey like facial structure in the book. Why don't you put that kind of head sculpt with the figure? I don't know ıf this cyborg hulk is in immortal run but nobody remembers immortal hulk that way. Bad decision in my opinion.

@@fafastturk4232 No, cosmic Hulk doesn't appear in Immortal Hulk. My guess is they branded it as such for marketing purposes. What angle are they going for exactly? I don't know. But this is definitely the regular Savage Hulk, not the Devil Hulk.

This is based on the Hulk's return to life in the "Avengers : No Surrender" limited series. It was here he was 1st called "The Immortal Hulk". He looked more like this figure then. And the Sasquatch BAF SHOULD'VE been that big. He's listed at 10'.

@Just Ant Man it's in reference to the Cosmic Hulk. A comically powered robot 1st seen in The Eternals vol 1 and more recently in the Incredible Hulk in the "Fall of the Hulks" storyline.

This guy seems like he's got the most articulation of the Select Hulks.

I want a Marvel Select Apocalypse, same size as this.

I’m getting mine in the mail tomorrow, and am stoked. I was so happy with the ML 80th Hulk, but when I saw this figure, I fell in love. I would have liked some bent up girders or something for him to grip, or a neutral or grimace face over the Cosmic Hulk.

That might be the best Hulk figure out there in my opinion.

Phew, that's one big hulk figure I've ever seen compared to your average 6 inch or 7 inch figures, i wasn't sure if the figure would fit my likes but it just did, it truly did, damn DST you magnificent people did it, now i can't wait to get this big shrek figure for my collection... Wait a minute that last part isn't right lol, dunno i always try to joke when i can even if it sucks haha

Yeah I totally agree it just looks like a classic Hulk to me. For once I think this diamond select actually fits into a legends collection.

He would look great being displayed alongside Storm Collectibles Zangief in a Marvel vs Capcom display.

The rename to immortal Hulk is interesting considering this is a more classic Hulk. I’m looking forward to seeing customizers make an Immortal Hulk head sculpt. I’ve been eyeballing this figure for months and I can’t wait to buy it!

I really like the Marvel Select Immortal Hulk he fits in with my Marvel Legends figures perfectly. Wow he does have a waist swivel sweet, I would have never known if it wasn't for your video.

Awesome review, I hope to find this in the wild. In regards to a neutral head, I wonder if the MCU Thor: Ragnarok Gladiator Hulk head would work, just getting rid of the face paint and maybe painting the skin tone to a more vibrant green 🤷‍♂️

I'm getting this guy and giving him some nice soft good pants for my mezco collection. along with some to make a red hulk and grey hulk. might go for the 80's reddish purple pants.

I just found this at my Local comic book store 🏪, Awesome review and figure, it really is Amazing I'm happy to own it.

As a Hulk collector I would like to see a hulk figure that with forward shoulder articulation so he can do the classic two fisted hulk smash pose. But this is a great figure. It really reminds me of the toybiz face off Hulk which is the best looking comic hulk i've seen. Great video man. Good review.

Great review! A Sasquatch from Marvel Select might be the greatest thing ever. I don’t know why they never did a Thor in the Destroyer armor as they already have the majority of the figure but Diamond Select LOVES to waste their potential.

I got 3 of these comn. 2 to open and display with both heads and hands. 1 collector grade to hang on the wall in package.

A add on Neutral head is a home run! The BEST hulk figure so far including import figure..

LOVE this figure. It looks better than the Prototype, which is certainly not always the case. The head sculpt alone is worth the price of admission. You are right, a neutral head would have made this 💯 perfect! It’s still fantastic though. Mi e shipped a week ago; but is still in transit 😑 can’t wait to get him in hand! Great review as always. Can’t wait to film mine. And yes, Rampaging HULK would have been a more fitting title.

This Hulk figure looks incredible, is def a get. Anyone have any idea how his size compares to the Storm Collectibles Injustice Doomsday?

Marvel select always captures the hulks size accurately in figure form.

When you put the Legends next to the select , you can see how much of a neck the Legends is missing 🤣

I love the size but that default headsculpt really kills it for me

Honestly every time I see this figure being put alongside Marvel Legends I Just think damn, he must have the biggest pair of pants in the world with how wide they are compared to the size of Marvel Legends.

That is a cool hulk. I have a select one, i use to think was awesome. But he matches my red hulk , so I’m satisfied & im working on tmnt ultimates & transformers. Great time for collecting but overwhelming

I always want a Hulk figure so bad for my birthday

hey! i was looking for this! i own the Sh Figuarts Infinity War Hulk, i loved that figure, the articulation is awesome, but i hate te "real" expresion ( i know its based on the movie) and i think Hulk must be more tall. then i met this inmortal hulk and now im thinking on replace in my collection the SHF Hulk for this one... i only need 1 hulk in my collection, but im not sure to let go a 100 bucks hulk and replace for a 40bucks hulk... if you have to choose only one to keep, wich one you choose? ( im thinking on get a custom 3d printed head for the Select if i pick him)

Im definitly getting this hulk so i dont need to get the marvel legends one and this one is definitly better than the old hulk from diamond select. Thanks for the video👍

Best Marvel Select Hulk figure, hands down. I agree that a MS Sasquatch would be an great addition. I'd add Man-Thing and Wendigo to that list.
