I think it would have made more sens that an adult plays an older Spider-man with better experience in crime fighting and create a differente story for spider-man than to try to remake the origins only to beat the sam raimy trilogy. It would have been a better experience for the public and maybe it would have got better reviews.

It’s good to see Shailene Woodley’s face in this. I’m disappointed we will never see her play MJ in the canceled TASM3 or her deleted scenes of TASM2, but this the next best thing.

Faces match perfectly to the characters, sad that there’s no TASM suits in the game though. Awesome job!

@@jambamram8441 I guess it's more about their future plans. For example, they didn't add Miles suit into their first game because he is obviously his own character that they planned on using. Same with the symbiote suits. Why put them into the ps4 game when they will be a big deal in the sequel? Now what has me worried is that they didn't add the superior Spider-Man suit saying it would feel "wrong" on Peter. That makes me think they still have plans for it.

@@cloroxbleach4326 You could argue that some of the more classical Peter Parker suits work with Miles as he is basically the successor of Peter in the Ultimate Universe. Though I agree with the sentiment of keeping Peter's suits with Peter and Miles' suits with Miles. Either way, I'll be severely disappointed if we don't get at least one of the TASM suits in the sequel. Literally, half the swinging animations are directly based on TASM2 so the suit deserves to be in the games. (Though I theorise Sony isn't too keen on giving them the license to do it. I'm guessing that was the reason why the Raimi suit was added so late while there are 5 MCU suits. I feel like they don't want to promote their older franchises)

I stand by my opinion that Andrew Garfield was the best Spider-Man we've seen so far. He was a victim of Sony. He would have fit in perfectly with the MCU as a college aged Peter Parker. Too bad he didn't get to crossover.

Agreed. Hes a very capable actor, the writing just fell so damn flat, with such a lack of understanding of the character, and everyone just associates that with him. Which is honestly stupid to think he had any meaningful input in how they portrayed him. Sony is notoriously closed minded in their decision making. But he definitely could’ve made an excellent adult Spider-Man.

I'm still hoping he and Tobey will appear in a live-action Spider-verse movie. Just imagine these 2 passing what they have learned onto the MCU Spider-Man. Also, the utter heartbreak potential that would be Andrew's Spidey meeting Spider-Gwen.

Petition for this to be the full game deepfake by babyzone. With Andrew Garfield Peter parker emma stone as Mary Jane since she's a natural red head and the rest of the cast as well. Maybe even mod the tasm 1 or 2 suit on have the tasm 1 suit at the beginning and then change it to the tasm 2 suit or have one or the other for the full game. Oh man, I'm gonna cry for this because is so perfect. If you think about it, the TASM franchise would have fix with Imsomniac's story. I mean, is like Imsomniac took all the potential that TASM has and make it real. I love TASM with all my hart but I know that it could have been better.

Damn I wonder what could’ve been if Andrew had joined the MCU. He was a pretty damn convincing Spider-Man, even if the films aren’t the best. Hopefully he could comeback through a Spider-Verse film, or maybe even the Kraven movie. Last I heard, it’s meant to be separate and it’s adapting Kraven’s Last Hunt.
