I love how they tweaked the character. In the comics, Martin Li doesn't know that he his Mister Negative, but here, he is embracing the demon inside of him that is so cool

Of course, there's also the fact he set-up Anti-Venom in the comics as well but I love him as a member of the Sinister Six.

I honestly hope he doesn't. The MCU is pretty much on it's last legs and I'm dropping it after the next part of Infinity War. Before you ask, no, I am not a raging nerd or something. It's just the formulaic nature of the MCU has overstayed its welcome. I would rather have a superhero film that focuses on telling a story with good characters, rather than a Summer Blockbuster with all flash and no substance.

As interesting as that would be, I don't think we'll get a Spider-Man character on Agents of SHIELD and I highly doubt they'd make him Inhuman in the movies since the TV executives won't play ball with crossing over into the films.

nah the MCU has kinda been the same thing mostly, its boring.

Negative should have been the main antagonist of the game. I love the version of Otto in this game, but they could have saved his transformation into Octopus for the sequal. Li makes more sense as he had the resources to break out the other members of the sinister Six and I find his struggle with his good and evil halves very compelling.

Nah they did it well with the regular structure of having 2 primary villains. Mr negative being it for the first half of the game and octopus being for the second half. Despite Otto being the leader of the sinister 6 both of them are the main villains

Here he probably cares for Harry more than ever before. I think that Norman is a good, but incredibly flawed person who will sacrifice lives of others to just to save lives related to his own.

Swinging also means coming. Martin didn’t know Peter was Spider-Man at the time but of course had his suspicions but it wasn’t until he caught Peter coming out his office that he officially knew he was Spider-Man.

Somewhere in the game there’s a letter or audio file or something where Lee talks about how now that Kingpin was out of the picture he can commence his plan. It’s hinted at a fee times. Kingpin’s statue had the devil’s breath file. The demons stole guns and explosives from kingpin’s arsenal and they attacked his men.

I wish his ending was explained further. He was just flicked to the side and that was it. Did he die? Was his put in prison? I wanted To see his reaction to May’s death

@@deanfernandes7604 Yeah, they don't do too much therapy in Arkham. They more just use archaic asylum experiments (ie. Utilizing electroshock therapy on Harleen Quinzel, solitary confinement for most of the "patients", and in some cases exacerbating the patient's mental issues). I would honestly pay to see a TV series where Arkham actually attempts to help some of the residents. The ones that can be helped that is. The Joker should just be given the gas chamber or the firing squad at this point. The guy has at least half-a-billion counts of homicide at this point and is totally unrepentant. He's earned it.

Mr. Negative it's one of my favorite villain, he's that, wisdom, strategic type. Smart enough to be a leader and also has the power

Before playing this game, I never knew much about Mr. Negative so I wasn’t a fan of him. But man, after I beat the game, he’s become one of my favorite Spider-Man villains and I’m glad he got the attention he deserved here. He was easily my favorite villain out of the game too, truly an underrated character.

There were brief mentions of him, like his part of the origin story of Anti-venom. Otherwise he hasn't had any big roles on any media until this game came out.

18:09 and 19:23-19:45. I love how beautiful the Chinese language is. It just sounds really cool to me, especially when Martin is speaking it. I just really like how he speaks it. It's really cool.

I actually didn’t know all too much about Mister Negative, but I like him a lot now!

Before this game, Mister Negative was always "That NEW Spider-Man villain" to me. Now, I like him as a character. Like Batman's Harvey Dent, he is a good man struggling with a darker split personality (major difference being the corruptive energy and Chinese mythology background.) Like Spider-Man himself, I really don't view Martin Li as an evil man..just a good man who is unwell.

I've never saw so an interesting and fascinating villain in the mcu like mister negative. This character should be taken for the next marvel movies that are coming out. Marvel have big Problems to present villians. They are mostly boring or cannot convince.

I'd say they've definitely gotten better with time, I really liked Civil War's version of Zemo, Ego was really fun, Killmonger is good even though he's slightly overrated, and I like Thanos.

I like Martin Li because he is both good and bad. Also, he always looks so tidy in that suit, even after an explosion or transforming into mr negative.

The cop's death in Grand Central Station is 100% on MJ.

i feel like he should have a had a weird sort of redemption, at the end of his boss fight, like he tries to protect spiderman from otto and thats when otto his him. (idk im just sad cause martin li was so nice)

So many emotions in this game, can't even play it without being hit in the face with feels every other cutscene.

It's been a little while since I played Spiderman and I forgot how much I enjoyed Mr. Negative as an antagonist. My return to the game was prompted by me looking up the VAs and finding out that Mr. Negative's VA (Stephen Oyoung) is supposed to play Red Hood in Batman Gotham Knights. His performance here was stellar so my hopes have gone up even further!

I dont think he ever found out he was Spider-man. But he witnessed Peter leaving his office which was meant to be a trap for anyone who saw the evidence. He probably assumed the trap failed. Thats why when Peter leaves FEAST he is attacked by a bunch of corrupted arguably as an attempt to kill Peter.

If Mr Negative ever comes in MCU, Stephen Oyoung (who gives voice and motion capture in the game) will be perfect for the role

I feel like Martin/Mr. Negative was a far more interesting character than Otto in the game. Glad he’s coming back for the sequel

After playing spiderman 2, his story really hits. They made such a good character development. Insomniac just hitting us with so much underrated villians which are perfect.

31:36 you can clearly tell that he didn’t want to give in to the demon or revenge because he truly did care about what he’s doing.

He’s a great villain in the comics and I’m glad more people got to know about him because of this game.

The part when octopus came in and Destroyed mr negative made me feel sad for negative cuz negative tried so hard to control himself then just got slapped into crap, this all happened cuz of OSBOrn

At 9:02 it really shows that he is split, he has one side of the face in the shadows and one in light. This trick is also done with two face in dark knight rises, it also shows the whole “balanced” thing that Li is into

this is my favorite character in the whole game

Martin looked so innocent when Peter didn’t know about his Negativity

A relatable character if I'm gonna be honest. I understand him on the "I want my revenge on ____ for what he/she has done to me/____" part honestly. My fav character of the game

I loved Martin’s Character in this game. I felt like even though they didn’t do a lot of explaining it was enough to understand for his hatred for Norman Osborn and his reason for his involvement. The first time I played/watch the game on KZread I was shocked it was Li who was behind the city hall bombing. I also love how there are moments in the game where you wonder doe he know or a least have suspicion that Peter was Spider-Man especially the scene when Peter was coming out of the closet and they have a stare down. I hope in Marvel Spider-Man 2 there’s some closure on his character.

This guy literally had the coolest type of gang, mafia or any group I have ever seen in any spiderman, game, movie or etc.. the demon gang are really sick

He is the best antagonist and character. Definitely.

During the prison breakout scene where most of the villains have high tech suits and armor and martin was just in a fucking formal suit it was so badass

​@@amireyvazi9251 his powers is based on light of force and dark force his light force gives him the persona of martin li and gives him the power of healing touch and the dark force gives him the persona of Mr negative which turns his body into black skin and white hair and white pupil and white clothes and in this form grants him super human reflex and durability and also strength which is strong enough for him to lift somthin that is 50 tons he also gains the ability to corrupt touch which is he can use to read minds go to people minds and control them and he can use the dark force energy to shoot projectiles and and puts he's power on swords do he can make it much more deadly another fact is that he's mind controlled inner demons also have to ability to put their energy in their weapon like Mr negative and these goons are stronger than normal humans like these goons are peak human level and they are also nearly not killable because the goons can regenerate because of the light energy which heals them and himself too

I like how Peter is succesful as Spider-Man and failing as an ordinary person and Martin is succesful as an ordinary person and failing as Mr. Negative

While I have never heard of Martin Lee/ Mr Negative, but I really love the character in the game and want to see more of them. Really felt sympathetic for him

I feel like Martin Li/Mr. Negative is the human version of the Walrider from "Outlast"
