It's great to see the black suit from 'Spider-Man 3' in the game and using the symbiote abilities. That's something we should have seen in the movie, but it didn't happen.

Because it had more than enough Strength in the Spider Man 3 Game he overpowers the Kaju lizard and shows great feats of strength like pushing train carts with ease on a tilted rock plus in gameplay its ridiculous op with its Annihiltor Punch, Super attacks and a Rage mode that's actually good.

When spider-man 3 came out, it wasnt common to show spidey using so many crazy symbiote abilities so it was mostly a suit that enhanced his own abilities, it is more common now to show him using more symbiote abilities

I just realized this is basically Insomniac giving us “the Spider-Man 3 game we deserved”. We’ve got Venom, Sandman, Kraven hunting the Lizard, Scorpion, now all we need is a bunch of filler gangs and the Mad Bomber and we have what is essentially a Fully Fledged remake of the most memes on Spider-Man game.

Seems like they made peter more muscular in this one so wearing the raimi suit compared to the first game looks more like the tobey maguire movies

The abilities that speed us up when we wear this costume are still spider arms. I hope we can use the symbiote versions with the update. It's a big disappointment for me.

I love the game it’s so fun but the only thing that kinda bothered me is the fact that in some missions Peter’s lines weren’t really portrayed that the symbiote was affecting him also the fact that you can’t change from normal to black suit bothered me a bit too, but it’s just nit picks other than that the game is great

I agree 100%, while I love the subtle stuff on crimes, hideouts, and other encounters (like 3:04), there could’ve been a much more drastic change imo. Also, not a big complaint because it’s a lot to expect but Peter pretty much being his normal friendly self on most minor side quests took away some immersion too. in hindsight I think they rushed the Bully Lowenthal arc a bit in general.

Pulling out a Rubik's cube in a black suit is just gold

Thank God that the intro he used to use for showcasing suits in Spiderman 1 doesn't exist anymore.

@@jayguero2123well, because he has the symbiote so it makes sense for him to have the symbiote powers and in the movie they simply LACKED what should have been. Also makes sense for him to still have the white webs since Tobey’s webs are organic. & for the wings that would be dumb for them to turn that off because that feature makes it easier to get around the map. It makes sense the way they did it actually

It's a shame the game forces you to wear their boring default costume in most cutscenes. I understand in some cutscenes like when peter gets the symbiote, but when he's just talking to a random dude on the street? Big disappointment ngl.

What does not make any sense is the fact that insomnia it was like no we don't need to give the symbiote his own moveset. We can just copy paste it. But you guys decided to waste all that energy and effort to have venom have his own moveset finishers combos animations for like two missions?😂 And you not even able to play him during free roam or after the game. It's just laziness copy paste they care about more about the story and presentation more about the gameplay. It's baffling because they had 5 years to make it and they have all those budget and they just thought that it's not important enough I guess. Which is weird because gameplay is more important than story
