my name is random person, I don't read comics so I don't know Iron fist origin! From the trailer it's not the exact thing, but in the comics he is with his parents when his father falls of the mountain and his business partner doens't help him, his mother then sacrifices herself to save him from a pack of wolves. People from K'un Lun find Danny and take him with them, that was very rushed and with errors since I haven't read the origin story ina while, but yeah, it's not a copy of Oliver Queen, this was in comics in the 70s.

I literally laughed out loud, that is really accurate. I almost feel like daredevil isn't even necessary, like he's bloody and near-dead after fighting in one hallway but Luke knocked out an entire building without breaking a sweat. If we're saying he's good at martial arts iron fist must be much better than him, and even if he's not he has a friggin IRON FIST

I would guess from this trailer that Rand does since in the end of the trailer you see him destroying the room in one punch but I'd think that Luke or Jessica would have stronger consistent punches since I don't think Iron Fist can keep dishing out those punches (again I'm not totally sure)

1evilgsta1 Well according to their wikis I think Jessica has the highest strength as she is able to lift a 2 ton vehicle over her head with ease. For Danny and Luke it says they have superhuman strength but no examples of that level. So I would say in terms of strength it would go Jessica, Luke, Danny, then Matt. Now in terms of fighting style it would go Danny, Matt, then a tie between Jessica and Luke.

Just done rewatching this series for the 3rd time! I'm hoping for more Danny Rand, pretty sure this would be already in MCU if ever.

Renaldo Pandaleke Those CW shows are great. In fact, DC's TV Universe is what the DCEU *should* be. A universe where each here is established one at a time, and results in a crossover that was worth the wait. Instead of the rushed Cinematic Universe that wants to be Marvel so bad, to the that DCEU films since BvS, have been Marvel knock-offs. Also, idk why its *just* Arrow references. There's so many heroes that were rich, something tragic happens, and becomes a hero aftet a few years as a result. Seriously, people in this comment section clearly havent see Iron Man and Doctor Strange.

Yes, I thought of Arrow when I first watched this. However, Iron Fist's origin has been unchanged since the 70's, unlike Arrow the show which is a completely different origin from the comics. Also, Arrow never defeated a dragon in a fist fight, and dipped his fist in its molten heart, so...

People are right to criticize Marvel for a lack of diversity (although there's been improvement), but to complain about Iron Fist being white is a complete misdirection of that criticism. *Of course* a character who was white in the comics is white in the TV series. Talk about a ridiculous complaint. What we need is more big roles in the MCU for characters who *were* people of color in the comics, instead of race-bending white characters. Quake & Melinda May (on Agents of SHIELD), Luke Cage and Black Panther is a good start.

The song is actually kind of an Easter Egg. The whole story with Iron Fist is that he killed a dragon and gained it's power essentially becoming a metaphorical dragon. The techno song you hear in the trailer is called "I'm a Dragon" by Apashe. Good song choice if you ask me :)

What I like is that he’s basically like “%&@# a secret identity.” He tells *everyone* he’s the Iron Fist if they question him. If a bum on the street asks how he’s going to run from one side of the park to the other in under a minute, he’ll be all “I am the Iron Fist.” He’s almost as extreme as Batman being all “Because I’m *Batman!”* in the HISHE videos.

phoenix war 94 warrior not gonna happen...what will happen is (theory of course) is that the defenders will he fighting and protecting the streets when thanos gets to earth and bring in his alien army. the defenders will be protecting the city and other threats during those events or after or even before infinity war starts. the defenders are mini avengers fighting weaker enemies

Well, it should happen. Defenders in the comics weren't mini-Avengers, they originally took on bigger/unknown threats. They should have planned Dr Strange into the Defenders series.

The Netflix Shows has a different timeline though. Daredevil S1, Jessica Jones S1, Daredevil S2, and Luke Cage S1 put together takes from January-August 2015! We would be lucky if Iron Fist Takes place in the beginning of 2016. If they are going to have anyone appearing from the TV shows end up in Infinity War or the 4th Avengers movie, they need to plan when these timelines and characters can intertwine.

if you've read Infinty Gauntlet you'd know street level heroes helped in the streets while Thanos was fucking shit up everywhere, so there's a chance. Not so sure if the Russos would want even more characters in the movie but hey... contractually they can do it, if marvel wants it
