I never had the money to stay in the comics the last few years, didn't know she has cancer, that's an interesting concept and seems like a little more of a tragic character now. I'll be honest I did think she was a gimmick but never really got to read her book to know or not. I loved the new Ms. Marvel but never gave the new Thor a chance.

If you put a little sticky tac or some kind of moldable material into the new Loki head you can fake it on the old Loki but the old Loki's body is too small for new head

I just got the figure finally, and I like her! I got her used, so I need to hunt down a Mjolnir.

But that's the MCU Mjolnir not ones they were using for comic Thors. It is smaller than hammer for Walmart Giant Man wave. Other hammers weigh her arm down big time. It's a great looking figure. Stinks no alt hands for double handed hold of Mjolnir.

sakurahollow They've probably never read a Thor comic in their life. There's a great video (I think by Mr Sunday Movies?) where they talk about the subject and mention the fact that prior to Thor being a girl, Thor was a horse faced man, a frog, a 90s pony tail man, etc. this isn't the first time Thor's identity was changed, but IMO it's the first time it was actually interesting and compelling

I think people are saying she has a smaller Mjolnir because the movie one is smaller compared to the Mjolnirs that have come with the comic versions of Thor.

Yo Sharty Primo! Figures. We finally get Jane Foster Thor, and she's about to die in her book! The Foster/Danvers comparison is very nearly spot on. Carol is 2" taller than Thor so this looks great.

I really don't get why people complain about marvel "changing" heroes to other races or genders etc. they say "why not make a new original character" which would make sense if not for the fact that the "changed" characters usually have a different backstory, personality, storyline, etc from the original hero, with the only thing unchanged is the powers, and the name. Like isn't that enough of a change? Unrelated to the video though

I think the point is that switching the race or the gender of a title bearer only shows that the company is lazy, greedy for that leftist audience, or has no faith in their writing staff to make an interesting character .

Ordered the 8 pack case from BBTS and was going through the articulation and the head snapped right off. Or rather the joint snapped with the ball in the head. Disappointed.

At first I wasn’t that happy cuz they changed Thor completely. Had nothing to do with her being female, just had to do with the change. Like if they made Thor look super young and a kid or if they made him look like stark. But eventually it just grew on me.
