Yeah, the arc reactor was a thing made up for the first Iron Man movie. Back in the day circle on his chest was just his uni-beam which had multiple functions from being a flood light to a super-powered beam weapon.

Didn’t notice the bicep till you mentioned it on iron man, I’m just going to say Tony did it on purpose to bug people if they notice it. Iron monger- I’m gonna crush you Stark, I’m going to ruin your very name, I’m gonna- hey are your arms on backwards? Tony- *flexes* Nope.

I may wait on the Cap - hoping for lighter blue as well. They're all amazing though. Man, I really want a classic Savage She-Hulk.

I think that Thor hand is for summoning Mjolnir.

I think it's a high five hand. It's just that Thor has crippling rheumatoid arthritis in their left hand ..it got quite the workout during their teen years.

Thanks you so much for pointing the Iron Man issues out Robo. I went ahead and fixed it with your advice and now I'm really loving the figure. You rock!

My 80 Years Thor also has the non-aligning left boot. I went about fixing it though. Those kneepad bits are overlays slipped over the the small calf piece. I trimmed some plastic out of the outer side to try to shift it over a bit, but also just cut up through the bottom of the inner side and put some thin material in there as kind of a spacer to just push it out a bit more, and now it looks perfect! Also swapped biceps for my Iron Man too! Thanks for showing that!

Gah! I can't find this Cap at any Walmart near me and I'm still waiting on dorksidetoys to ship Thor and Iron Man. I can't wait to get these! I simply love the classic looks of comic characters. This is my quintessential Thor and Iron Man. That Tony head sculpt is EXACTLY how I picture him. Like a Howard Hughes clone. I love it. I absolutely hate exclusive figures though. I vow to tear the universe apart if I cannot find Dr. Doom next year at Walgreens. So disappointed a character that important is an exclusive.

Just got these 3 today. Can't wait to grab Colossus, and Hulk.

I've always big fan of the comic version... I love the vintage wave of Capt and Iron man, but this version is my fav from the legends line. Great simple packaging and accessories aswell.

Swapping the biceps will get them in a little more better neutral position(closer to the body). Thanks Robo for pointing it out.

the Mattel Secret Wars Iron Man was one of my favorites growing up in the 80s. Happy to finally get one from hasbro closest to that version

Thanks man. I found myself wanting to talk about how or why I bought whatever I'm reviewing and didn't want to leave just the package on the screen the whole time, thought it would be more interesting with the b-camera. I try to leave the cuts out of the review part of the videos to focus on just the toy, don't want it to be all about me. I'm glad you like it!

Absolutely, this is definitely more review for a toy than chance to brag about you & your toys, just the little back moments adds character and, like I said personalize it and brings it out compared to others

I got lucky last night and found all of these at once at one of my Wal-Marts. They had 2 or 3 of each and that's probably all they'll ever stock lol.

I love this set! I scooped them up along with retro Vision, Wasp, and paired with the Family Matters, Wanda and the Walmart Exclusive true retro Black Panther. They are truly Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!

All 3 showed up at my local Wal-Mart, plus all of the retro x-men, plus all the 80th anniversary 2 packs and 1 case of the new wendigo figures. If you live in western PA or eastern Ohio....and cant find these guys let me know ill show ya where ya can. And btw....let me first start off by saying I'm not a fan of any of these looks for these characters....but they are done sooooooo well they are now all my favorite legends versions even without liking the costumes....that says something. Hasbro took these 3 figures and said "look what we are actually capable of" and it shows.

Picked up Iron Man at "Walmarts" today...passed on Thor for now. Looking for Cap at this time. Love the retro comic book look and accessories... Great review as always.

That thor is the absolute best!!!! I have 2 mcu thors and paid an outrageous amount for the marvel now modern thor but he had nothing on this new sculpt. It is perfect. Now if they will just give me a repaint of him with the modern helmet =/

Odd QC issues on that Iron Man, though thankfully, like you said, pretty easy to fix. Still, that's strange. I otherwise REALLY like that Iron Man, though, him and the Steve are the stars here for me. Thor's still great, but those two do it for me. Just kinda wish we had a no mask Steve, too, but no big deal.

Have you tried putting the mezco cap head on the yamaguchi cap body? Not sure if the blues match but the proportions seem to match great from photos I have seen online.

Could you do a tutorial video on how to pop out the pin? I want to fix my figure but I’m not confident on getting that pin out without damaging the figure

Plus I glued a small nail in the hole in his back painted it white to match the star glued a small magnet on inner part of the movie shield now it stores on his back

I didn't even notice that his biceps were switched around, but I actually kinda prefer the way they look on him. Also gave my Cap an MCU shield because I hate the clips and the size of the regular shields. Don;t know why they don't just make all the shields like that.

Awsome Action Figure review

I had to go to one of my local Walmarts at 6:30 in the morning to get my Cap. Totally worth it.

Fixed Iron Man Thanks to you. My Thor had a backwards peg in his right knee that was hanging out and bent. that was a bitch to get turned around and secured and now his knee is a bit loose. But after those fixes i love all 3 of these.

Lucked out and found all 3 at my local wally here in eastern Kentucky!!

I really believed ppl when they said the extra $5 was for better QC..but were definitely wrong. I got lucky and was able to go through so many of these guys. Thor definitely came out the best. And yeah, that finger print thing on the star is on all of them.

I hope we get a Silver Centurion Armor in the style of this Iron Man some day soon.

What action base did you use to stand the iron man? U know for flying mode or any cool poses. 'cause I was using the S.H.Figuarts action base/stand it didn't wrong the claw just didn't fit to the Ironman body

These figures are spectacular

When I went to my Wal-Mart last week they completely revamped the toy section and had almost all the 80th anniversary stuff, along with the X-Men retro wave and STILL had the Caliban wave ( I need a few of those still). I decided to grab Thor since I never had an opportunity to get any version of him. So many figures....so little money.

Now I have to go home and check out my iron man and fix him lol

got these about a month ago but I was still looking forward to your review, Robo hands down the best 6'' figures reviewer. Now send me some of those cool shirts (I wear size L btw)

Picked up iron man today and I love it only downside is I got a loose knee but otherwise and still it’s amazing

18:19 - and you can have a 4th option by removing that small flash piece from the blast ones. Something that took me some time to realize those came off.

Good catch about Iron Man’s arms, Robo! But I’m probably not gonna do the fix; doesn’t really bother me

I love the classic Iron man. And that wasn't an arc-reactor in his chest. That was his life support. He had to wear that chestplate at all times.

My Iron Man came with the issues you cover but no matter what I did the left boot looked off....turns out he has two right feet and I do not know what to do

Dang it Robo now that bicep thing is gonna bug me till I fix it... thank you at the same time! But... is the right shoulder of your Captain America missing some paint? It doesn't seem to have that shimmer of the scale mail. (I think that's how you spell scale mail...)

The iron man i found almost immediately, the thor i couldn't find until last month, and yesterday i was finally able to find cap. Now to hunt for a hulk

You can cut caps gripping hand to let it grip the movie shield strap..

What is the trick to popping the upper arms back on? The pins looks bigger than the holes they go into...

diaphragm articulation is my favorite. im hoping we get any new Spider-Man figs w an updated diaphragm body. p.s when i saw you swivel the boot my mind was blown, apparently my Iron Man's boots were on just a little too tight, got it now 👌👌 also, im using the First 10 years Captain America shield. matches up w the red nicely, & the metallic look of the shield fits better w the metallic looking scales

Yeah, when I first went to rotate it, it was pretty stuck but broke free. And YES, that torso joint from Thor and Scorpion needs to be the new standard going forward, maybe even with a hinge at the abs to give even more movement to more agile characters.

The reason the unmasked iron man looks a little too big is because of the hair. When you put a helmet on, your hair gets kind of matted and conforms to the shape (kinda) so, realistically, it’s perfectly sized

So I'm not the only one to notice ironmans shins are backward across the board. I missed the arms tho to be fair I have yet to hold one myself

My wife snagged me a Marvel Legends Thor 80th and when I got it out of the bag, they had originally packaged it upside down. So i was debating opening it or not, i don't know if mis packaged items are even worth anything--has anyone ran into this yet?

I like these, especially Thor and Cap. The thing about these exclusives like the Cap is not only the distribution problems, but the retailers too. Like when they re-released the Cull Obsidian wave a few months back. I went to Target and found Black Widow, but couldn't find Black Knight. When I asked if they had any stock in the back, I was told they showed 24, but couldn't bring any more to the floor until those sold because the pegs were full...ok, maybe I get that, but when I asked if I could see what they had, they remark that thye weren't going to bring 24 figures out, that was too much. I remarked that there is 8 to a case and they're small, thye could easily bring 3 boxes out...nope. Went to another Target, guy not only checked in the back, he found the Black Knight nad even told me what else he saw. Walmart is a nightmare, period. Walgreens...it seems a lot of stores out here in California suffer from the they don't get new stock until they sell through the old...that sucks...that same Target I first went to never got the first wave of Endgame figures, but they got the Hawkeye and Black Widow 2 pk...they just recently got the smart Hulk wave...it's frustrating man...and my most anticipated 2 pk for me other than Hela and Skurge is the Iron Man/Spider 2 pk with all the bells and whistles...but it's a Target exclusive...sigh lol...Ebay here I come. So I can't believe I never noticed the iron man thing but I just did it and it looks Soo much better and it now has a better nutral stance

Just wandering through my local Meijer I thought I will look down this isle which usually has the same gwenpool and wasps and to my surprise they had that vintage xmen wave and the whole xforce wave. Easy way to spend a hundred bucks. Got Storm, Cannonball, Boom Boom, Sinister and Nightcrawler. I was going to get the Dazzler but there was a defect in the paint and I really thought I would want the iceman but it did not look great at all up close. Poor job in my eyes.

Need a blue stealth variant of that iron man!!
