I think we're seeing exclusive BAF waves because big box retailers aren't ordering them for their stores.

I have 4 Targets and about 6 Walmart's in my general area, and they all have very sparse shelves when it comes to Marvel Legends figs.

Fingers crossed we get a deluxe punisher on the Vulcan mold with the EOV shell with no flame effects

The first thing I thought of when seeing the Dracula was how much fun I would have putting him with my deadpool 😂😂. It really does look amazing. For me I have gone to getting only what I truly want and that Dracula might barely make the cut.

At this point it’s more when Mephisto will drop instead of if he will. I think this Strange Takes wave is an appetizer for a future comic Baron Mordo, Werewolf by Night, Nightmare, and some others. In time

They called Odin a super deluxe. I might use Rogues head as a Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. I definitely need this Phoenix I was so disappointed with the wave. I'll get it but I won't be happy until I get Baron Mordo.

Professor X will be an online exclusive. I have 9 Walmarts within driving distance from me and still haven't actually seen a Walmart exclusive in a store in years. Last one I actually saw in a store was Black Widow.

Man that Blackheart looks so damn good. I just wish he had a purple or blue overspray. Also yeah I hope these reveals set up a Ghost Rider wave, I'd love to see a new Vengeance figure. We haven't seen him since the ToyBiz days and that figure was not very good...

I've only been collecting for a couple months but just want to commend you on your high quality videos. While every presenter has their own style, I think you have, by far, the least "filler" material in your presentations. You are able to describe what you like and don't like about a figure with great clarity and skill. It may seem like a simple thing to discuss toys, but you truly have a depth of knowledge about the subject that I think is unmatched on KZread. Thank you for helping us make informed purchasing decisions.

They’re definitely doing these BAF exclusive waves to stop the “clearance waiting” people do. Dan said it when this started “don’t wait for clearance” plus these waves are definitely less produced compared to the MCU and spidey retro waves

havent bought a single one of the "online exclusive waves" the $25 is violent and just nuts. if its not at retail i skip, clearance and patience is the only way have been able to afford any legends lately, not sure how nay one can afford to buy $25 a pop, its nuts really.

I respect your opinion. Brother Voodoo is my second favorite reveal out of all of these, Phoenix being number one. I passed on the other Voodoos because I didn't like the way they looked. New body and face sculpt much appreciated.

That updated Phoenix fig was pretty epic as well. Can't wait to pair her up with the new classic Cyclops on the Vulcan buck that we all know is inevitably coming.

I said Black Heart was coming but I didn't know it was going to be a BAF...I wonder if the photo I seen of prototype Annihilus is using this body mold. It may be a BAF as well.

A Hasbro prototype of Annihilis? Where did you see it? I'd love to check it out. I'm hoping Hasbro revisits the insectoid ruler of The Negative Zone. The select version looks pretty cool, but I think it may be out of scale with Marvel Legends.

While I’m happy to have a 1st Appearance Rogue, I definitely would’ve preferred Destiny in a 2-pack with an updated Mystique. Would’ve also been a no-brainer reveal also considering it’s Pride Month.

Still would love to see a classic Marvel Dracula, Frankenstein, Werewolf by Night and a Simon Garth Zombie.

Another great video Manny! As a huge Thor fan it was comic Odin all the way for my no.1 closely followed by Phoenix and Dracula.

Odin. Destiny. Dracula. Just take my money. I throw my wallet at the mercy of ML. When announced that a Strange Tales wave was to be revealed this year, I got into some of the Silver and Bronze Age Strange Tales comics to get an idea of what Hasbro ML would select for characters. I was obviously incorrect. Hasbro ML Strange Tales has NOTHING to do with those comics. At least I got to read some classic stories about the Wizard, the Trapster, Umar, Nightmare, Mordo, Warlock, Gamora, and Pip. You may be correct that it is time that Mr. Falcone retires his character selection entitlements to someone else. That blaster tease looks like Kang's but I suspect something else. Deathlok. It is his 50th anniversary this year. Thanks for the video Xmanny - I can't wait for your Phoenix review.

I definitely want to get that Phoenix. I don't have a Jean Grey figure yet and I don't care for her regular design. The Phoenix costume is phenomenal though. I kinda want Hellverine but only because he looks cool so I might not even bother. Also I have to see him in-hand first.

That is bram stoker's dracula!! Er... I mean Marvel's Dracula! I cannot to get this popular bloodsucker for my collection and fight Blade or Morbius. At last we got a new Jean Grey on her green suit phoenix form complete with phoenix rising from her back which remind me on a toybiz figure back in good ol' days. Great video Manny!!

The Bowen design is what Hasbro went with for the Doctor Doom too. The Xavier through me off. I'm used to the cover colors. The Lilith is disappointing. It isn't hitting like I thought it would. Cool Blackheart. I like Blackheart's eyes a little bigger like Spider-man's.

I totally see that new Black Heart body being used for an Anti-Venom

Great review! Odin looks pretty damn magnificent! I think Gungnir looks kind of short now with this new Odin. I wish they had included his mace, too. I think they now have a perfect size base mold for a future Executioner-here's hoping! And I agree- that Phoenix figure is a must have.

The most interesting for me were Deluxe Phoenix, the brotherhood 2pack, Blackheart, Lilith, and Hellstorm.

I really want them to make a wave of nightmare or mephisto I want these two villains in this wave but when we're going to get them

I need that Oden Phoenix, and that strange tales wave I’ve always been a fan of the whole supernatural/monster side of marvel and that strange tales wave is right up my alley. I pretty much want every figure in that wave although I will agree maybe they could’ve swapped out the wolverine and blood storm for somebody else.

MCU Man-Thing, but no comic or MCU version of Werewolf By Night? C'mon, man!!!!

That Bloodstorm shocked me and is the only one I'm for sure getting from the Strange Tales wave. I'm hoping this means we will get the rest of Mutant X. I had the original 4 from ToyBiz, shame we never got Iceman or Brute. I think they would be a lot of fun in the Legends line. Phoenix, Destiny, and Rogue are must haves!

Here in Arkansas I have noticed that a lot of retail stores are ordering cases of single figures. I saw a case of 12 G.I.Joe Classified series Shipwreck at my local Walmart. Are stores doing that everywhere? And are all the toy lines allowing those types of purchases?

Yeah we will have the occasional duds, but what marvel legends doing this year is really amazing 1 consistent price range, even bigger and multipacks are of a manageable price. 2 creative accessories. 3 overall keeping it pinless for most of the figures. 4 introduction and integration of soft good capes. 5 not doing MCU that much (we have lot of import brands for that ), so legends should focus more on comics. 6 overall moving in positive direction with the line.

i think the final wolverine that they hinted at will for sure be a brown suited on an orange retro card. on the War Lord Professor X , if you look in the corner where it says marvel comics it shows storm, rogue , gambit & wolverine in a brown mask

With that hell wolverine reminds of Ghost rider 2099 and engine of vengeance Robbie Reyes ghost rider hopefully marvel legends crew gives those figures in a retro wave. An old king Thor reissue would work for me .

Hellverine and bloodstorm are my favorites.

I'm thinking that Kang is going to be part of a Secret Wars retro carded wave that Rektangular predicted. Probably still won't be getting his time chair anytime soon from Hasbro.

Ill take those flame pieces to go with the Mafex Phoenix

The only figures I hoped we get soon enough is an updated classic Mary jane Watson and Gwen Stacy figures

Wolverine figures I still want are Albert and Elsie Dee, a new Daken, Old man Logan Phoenix, Earth X Wolverine, feral Wolverine, and a Lord of the Vampires Wolverine , yes there are still Wolverine figures we need

His favorite Wolverine will be the live action Deadpool 3 version in costume Walmart/Target doesn’t want the non media tie in product on their shelves I’m excited about the wave because i never got the previous Dr Voodoo so a pinless version is great for me. Dracula Lilith Damien Moon knight to round out my west coast avengers Only one I’m not really excited about is vampire Storm but she’ll look good as a minion for Dracula or fighting Blade.

So when will Jean Grey be out for pre-order and will she be sold in every store or is it just going to be an exclusive? Because she looks AMAZING!!! And I have a feeling Hasbro is going to put McFarlane back in place as a best toy maker for mass market ❤️

Odin is my favorite, but Jean came a close second once they revealed the Phoenix accessories. Gonna grab the two pack mostly for Destiny, but that Rogue doesn't look bad at all. I didn't care for the wave. The title was misleading and misused, as they could have given us more classic characters. The only one I might grab is Hellstrom, but only to make use of his lower legs for a potential kitbash with Kazar and Rictor, to make a custom Tarzan.

Man I was expecting something Deadpool and Wolverine or anything else mcu related or than man thing

I'm definitely going to be dropping my Mafex Phoenix pre-order. She and the Destiny/Rogue 2 pack are my must-haves. The Odin is a serious temptation though. The Strange Tales wave has me feeling rather *meh*... If they had a classic Blade or a new Else Bloodstone I'd feel better about it.

How much was the Mafex Phoenix asking price? North of 100 bucks I would imagine. I did like the overall colors of the figure, but I found only one head sculpt (the John Byrne-esque inspired portrait with whited-out eyes and the wind-swept hair.) to be appealing. Also, I hate the Mafex ball joints for the figure's ankles and wrists. The Legends version will come with 2 decent head sculpts plus that bad @$$ fiery Phoenix display base for probably less than half the price of the Mafex offering. Defiantly know what I will be spending my money on.

Freaking spot on regarding what you said about Jesse Falcon. He's sold his soul to Disney. Its obvious they all know what collectors want and their deliverate attempts to oversell repaints or characters that nobody asks for is just becoming a tiresome game now. Sabretooth with a logan that we dont need. Zabu wave where more than half the figures are meh. Sick and tired of the mouse and their corporate greed already.

How's it going Manny hope all is well. Excited to see an armored Dracula going to have to replace my custom now... I hope we get some more monstrous characters soon Frankenstein's Monster, Manphibian, and Simon Garth Zombie. Fairly solid reveals today was hoping for Rachel Summers but I can't be disappointed about that 🐦‍🔥. Odin blew my mind away what a top tier looking figure.

Don't forget Jack Russel, The Werewolf By Night. He's DEFINITELY a must have figure in any Marvel Monsters collection. I also have a pretty awesome (if I do say so myself) classic Dracula custom (kit bashed from the old Toybiz Marvel Legends Monsters Dracula and Legends Morlun fig.) and an after mentioned Werewolf By Night custom (also kit bashed from the old Toybiz set, a Legends Jakal and a Jada toys Wolfman fig). They look great on my shelf paired with Blade, but I would certainly like Hasbro to redo these figures. Not feeling Dracul's new armored look at all.

My mind went instantly to the exact image of Kang rockin' the blaster that X-Manny referenced. My buddy swore up and down that it was a Kree weapon (Kree army builders would, however, be sweet!) of some kind. Kang on a Secret Wars retro card wave is my guess.

Brother Voodoo is a welcome update black characters in the line are far and in between and I’m glad they he is in the wave. Now the Wolverine figure could’ve be passed up.

Seeing these reveals today, I was happy for the most part @Xmanny87. I hope Hasbro shows at San Diego Comic Con a new Spider-Man Wave and the Baf we all be waiting for. It could go well for the upcoming Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Series that's coming to Disney Plus in the fall of 2024.

I’m fine with this wave it has enough characters that I want. When I saw the venom I was excited for 2 seconds then heartbroken when I saw the pins. I’m so tired of hasbro using pins. If hasbro cant afford doing a bunch of figures pinless then they should do way less figures. I am so sick of having to but multi packs and waves just to get 2 to 3 figures that I want. Then seeing the figures I’ve always wanted be made half pinless or pinned makes me wanna give up collecting marvel.

I guess you got your wish about the Tom Hardy Venom rerelease 😂

Destiny is the ONE figure that needed a cloth cape! That kinda sucks, but fuck yea Blackheart looks awesome and the rest of the wave looks solid too

Only picking up Odin..Dark Phoenix.. Damien Hellstrom & possibly Dracula.. even tho i would prefer O.G. 70s Tomb Of Dracula version The Hellverine is trash IMO..& I'm not happy about the ROGUE TAX on Destiny..but ill probably pick that up as well.

That Destiny two pack would have been perfect, if it was a update pinless Mystique instead of Rogue. Why did they change it? The leaks had Destiny and Mystique? 🤷‍♂️

Groovy. They are both looking like solid releases. I buy EVERYTHING comic related from Marvel Legends (despite the wife's vehement objections), but tend to stay away from a lot of the MCU figs.

Im excited about bloodstorm, dracula, brother voodoo, and jean grey. Eveything else is boring imo

Bringing the heat? Most of these figures are just plain bodies painted different, minimal sculpt work except odin. Just weak sauce man.
