Sersi used her powers to generate the “A” jackets for herself and Crystal and Black Knight while on the Kree homeworld during Operation Galactic Storm. Crystal was still wearing yellow and Sersi was still wearing her green swimsuit look. Shortly after the ladies switched to Black/Red and Black/white costumes but kept the jackets. Dane kept the jacket and switched to big clunky metal boots to replace the pirate boots by the time he appeared on the comic cover this set is based on. Basically just 90s fashion evolution. I think also why Carol put a bomber jacket over her uniform in Captain Marvel movie set in the 90s.

You shouldn’t have to feel bad or apologize for not liking a figure. Not everything hasbro puts out is good. And this is definitely one of those cases. I appreciate your honesty more than anything.

I definitely do see the Courtney Cox likeness because in the 90s, Sersi from the Eternals did have that Monica hair style from the Friends tv show, It is also very nice to get another Black Knight fig because he is another cool character, I don't have this 2 pack, But I might get it if on sale, Overall, Awesome review MCUcollector24.

Don’t feel bad bro it’s your honest take. Not everything Hasbro makes will satisfy everyone. I would be disappointed too if this was a set I wanted and it turns out to have bad QC issues of gummy legs. We all want quality specially for how prices are now.

That's a shame. I ordered this, and I'm excited to get it despite the flaws you spotlighted. I just liked the storyline at that time in the Avengers comics. Hopefully I'm not too disappointed when I get my edition. Sersi should have had an alternate menacing face included though. Seemed fitting for her character. Strangely the face included looks like it took inspiration from Courtney Cox in the 90's. Would have also been cool if they considered adding Crystal, and making it a 3-pack. Hopefully one day we can get Proctor. That guy was awesome.

At least the knight has double elbows which is something i notice about the x-men 97 gambit still only has single joint elbows.

Black Knight is mostly a kitbash with Cannonball. If only Hasbro arms were swappable on all torso styles, you could really easily do this yourself and not need to buy this 2 pack. Sersi body might be a good start for Mary Jane Carnage Spider Woman from the last few episodes of the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. And the head is perfect for an 80s hair metal band rocker chick!

Neutral head for black knight woulda been better so people can buy this set to use the head for the previous one

I really love Sersi character but I would have prefer the sexy green outfit Sersi And indeed her face really looks like Courtney Cox !!

You should had these figures with you when you interviewed the Legends team at SDCC.

I agree I don’t know why I thought this pack was going to be great. For some reason I thought there was something new as far as the figures go but it’s mainly reuse. Very disappointed smh.

Didn’t think it was possible but Sersi takes the title from Retro Storm in regards to being the worst Legend to stand.

Black Knight needed to include alternate head with no helmet just his 90s blonde hair

The idea of heroes wearing jackets seems absurd. I was just imagined it being decided to make the Phantom Stranger look cooler by giving him a jacket to wear over his coat.

Sersi's head for custom fodder is the only tghing appealing.

The trick is to never move it

It feels the figures was rushed and low budget to get them pushed out fast. Figures should be easy to stand and not top heavy. Legs need to be balance. This is a great set to get so classic characters. Instead of the prime sellers.

I do have to say that I'm pretty tired of reviewers complaining about issues that could literally be solved with some hot water. If you have the resources to film and upload videos, it isn't much of a stretch to imagine you have access to this. Nothing is perfect in this world, why would these mass-produced toys be the exception? That aside, I think all of the rest of your complaints are totally valid and honestly these would be a pass for me.

It's the Neural Sword. It was never ever referred to as the "Photon Sword" in the comics.

I don't think you were being negative at all, just honest. It's a weak set, made weaker by really poor choices: no forward tilt wrists for the black knight, a really odd likeness for Sersi and on a terrible body (Sersi's always been about the curves). What I really wish the Hasbro team would realize is that more thought needs to be put into these things, because they cost too much for anything less.

Greedy Hasbro once again, this set is a disaster.
