dear mr. webb, I would adore to see you do a custom movie yellow jacket. You see, no body has made one (I think), and I would like to see your take.

Paint could've really helped this figure, he'd at least make an interesting display piece if he was coated entirely in that glorious silver. Scale is about what it was in the movie but I think they could've made his chest/shoulders a bit broader, have a more 'intimidating' stance.

How they give his final fight scene in AOU isn't justify at all! BTW, SH Figuarts and Revoltech possibly releasing Ultron too, I am so looking forward to those.

I was also a bit dissapointed when I first saw Age of Ultron in theaters, but I saw it again recently and was pleasently surprised. Am I the only one that thinks it gets better the second time?

I wish it was a movie BAF Yellowjacket instead of Ultron.

Look at the bright side, what if there was no deco on the front and it was all on the back xD

I prefer the older design myself. I liked the character of Ultron in the film, I thought James Spader gave him surprising presence, but the design was too fussy.

Hey Glenn I saw Antman yesterday and before the movie it had a trailer for Star Wars the force awakens in Australia(I'm Australian) the release date is December the 17th which is my birthday but anyway how do you feel about Star Wars episode 7 and have you seen Antman if so what did you think about it

I loved age of ultron but Ultron was not as powerful as he is in the comics a little let down but even thought I liked it and about the lack of paint is kind of dissapointing but if you can paint the dark gray parts into silver will look grate (I will do that in my baf and I'm not going to get the hall wave I will only get movie Ant man and Wasp.

I think the ultimate ultron looked more simple and better

Good review. I don't really care for the figure either.

I would really like to know what Hasbro thinks watching your reviews. I'm usually not able to splash out the bucks for every figure in a wave so I go into my purchasing largely expecting to like the figures I've chosen to buy. Otherwise, I don't buy them to begin with. I like that you're able to review the figures that need some tough love-- or no love at all in this case. I just wonder if Hasbro writes off (or worse, laughs off) your comments, or if they actually consider what you say. Great review as always, Glenn!

Rob Pollock I think they do consider what collectors think. Maybe not me as a lone voice but I certainly feel that had the community not held Hasbro to task on Marvel Legends they would not be as a good as they are now compared to the dark days of say the dark nemesis wave. I do feel obliged to buy all the Legends so I can offer my perspective. If I was just collecting and not reviewing I likely wouldn't get them all. But I think it's good that Legends are in a healthy position of coming out in a volume that people can cherry pick and not feel obliged to just get them all just out of support

Ha, Oops. I didn't mean to suggest they listen to you exclusively. But I am certain your voice is part of a select few that the company actually takes notice of. I'm just hoping that Hasbro listens to yours and other's complaints about the lack of paint deco, or poor sculpts or articulation. I'd gladly pass on Hasbro producing a whole wave of Legends (and the cost to the company associated with it) if it meant the surrounding waves were better for it in the end... unless of course the wave that was passed on was an X-Men wave. Still, look at the quality of the Dr. Strange Boxset compared to the Ant-Man Wave. I'd say nearly every Ant-Man wave figure is inferior to the offerings of the SDCC exclusive set. And yet there's no build-a-figure with the Book of Vishanti. To me it raise a question of costs. Was it easier to make better figures because no BAF was included? Or could they make better figures for the SDCC set because this year's various retail waves featured so much cost cutting? Man, I feel like I should be podcasting or vlogging about this or something.

Me personally, I liked AoU, but I can see why people view it as a disappointment. One people seem to highlight, and is presented in figure form, is Ultron himself. People say he is either not menacing or just say he was to comedic. Me personally, I saw him as a naïve child, someone who thought he was doing good but was just doing something twisted and insane. Plus they were going with the whole "AI being almost human like" and him kind of being born in a week. Was rather interesting take. And...I don't think he is dead, so a there is a chance for him coming back, angry and menacing. But that's me, opinions are opinions. (I hope I explained mine and didn't botch it up..) In terms of design....Its a nice design, the one thing I cant stand, is the mouth. Like I know they were trying to highlight "AI being human", but the mouth was too goofy for me. So for a BAF, its OK, more of a BAF then Thanos, but the paint is just sloppy.... Almost makes it not worth it....Still, from either Hasbro or Select, Im kind of hoping for a Ultron based on his look from "Rage of Ultron", cause I thought it was a cool look that would look amazing in figure form and I really did love the story..

Figure looks good enough for a movie ultron legends figure but I would like if it had like one open hand and one fist hand or many a laser beam you could put on his hand like in the movie and I think the sliver is a little bit bright I remember it being darker in the movie and it needs more red on the robotic parts and a LOT more details so sadly I won't be picking this up because it doesn't really succeed in what I would like to have for the perfect avengers display so I'm just going to get the select one : / Won't a cookie ^_^ 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪

Yea Avengers AOU was rather disappointing. As far as the toys go, they should've just had Ultron as a basic collectible figure in the wave & had Giant Man as the BAF.

Hasbro's contract needs to be burned and Toybiz needs to be reinstated.

I'm just really not too fond of the hands

Yeah I'm with you on widow. Seemed to be entirely different character to previous movies. They just sacrificed who the character was to try and make banner more interesting. Which it didn't. Double fail

It's...Back...is unpainted...? This is a fucking joke right? Ive Chinatown Bootlegs with more paint then that! Jesus Christ Hasbro, what next? we get completely unpainted figures and they'll try to sell it as "Make your own custom?". i don't even buy these and it makes me angry.

Agreed. MCU Ultron was disappointing in many ways. Mainly the unnecessary overcomplicated design (including pupils, lips, teeth, toes, etc.) and his witty Stark-ish personality and sense of humor we didn't really need (which is why I still believe Hank Pym creating Ultron in the MCU would've delivered a somewhat better villain)
