The original dhow did show off the wider Marvel Universe too. Specifically in the Phoenix SAGA, they showed of characters like Thor, Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, etc. Which is awesome cause characters like Spider-Man would get their own shows directly from X-Men.

Guys, I know the original show had the wider Marvel universe too. And it's in the same universe as Spider-Man: TAS. I'm talking about the now. Lots of people who are not used to the way it works in the comics know the X-Men exist within the Marvel universe, but they haven't had much opportunity of actually seeing those worlds connect because of all those rights crap. I think it's cool to see them still maintaining that connectivity in a post-MCU era.

If you haven’t seen it you should check out the Silver Surfer show from the 90s. It was awesome, with appearances from Galactus, Thanos, Beta Ray Bill - it was the most underrated of those 90s cartoon and only went for one short season.

@@philcorrigan5641 Finally somebody acknowledging this show, I genuinely think what we got from that show was even better than the 90s X-Men show and a lot of the 90s Spider-Man show, if only they had given it the light of day. Hell, they literally cancelled it RIGHT before the season finale, we don't even have the entire first season, we have the first season and 1 missing episode (iirc the last episode was fully made, they just decided it was a waste of time to air it, could be wrong tho, it's been a while)

@@dolier2802 I think its problem was that it was too smart for its own good. The Surfer was such a thoughtful, philosophical hero who spent a lot of time pondering the nature of existence, rather than just punching bad guys - it was more intelligent than most tv shows for adults in the 90s, never mind Saturday morning cartoons

@@pendr1825 It totally caught me off-guard too. So did Vulcan. Vulcan is INCREDIBLY powerful but he didn't appear until the 2000s. I thought the show would've shown characters that would've already debuted by the 90s. Guess I was wrong.

@@IStevenSeagal For anyone curious about this guy's beef with me, Comics Explained posted the issue of Secret Wars where Spider-Man defeated the X-Men, and this guy swore up and down Spider-Man could never defeat X-Men based on power levels and numerical values and other stories. Again, under the post for the comic where Spider-Man defeats the X-Men. Naturally, posting that kind of stuff had everyone in the comments teach this man a thing or two. Now, it seems he's sworn a vendetta on everyone who proved him wrong.

The Way This Episode had Two Love Stories happening at the same time, Yet neither felt rushed or like it didn't belong, They both flowed together so well. Also that Scene of Storm getting Her Powers Back was EPIC! This Show has been Absolutely Fantastic So Far!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE!!!!!!

They are bringing in Deathbird to let us know Charles is alive and with Lilandra. I think When Xavier was attacked and had to go to the Shi'ar Empire because they have special Tech. The X-men had to tell the world something and maybe the Shi'ar empire likes its discretion so the X-men said he passed. None of them seem sad about the professor being dead, because really he isn't. I also think the Shi'ar will come to the aid of mutant kind when the war starts. Lilandra sees the X-men as allies.

This is insanely awesome how much and who they're bringing in one season. Just when I thought they could not blow mind more than episode 5, here comes our first glimpse of Vulcan in a series and a scene that says things are about to get more complicated.

I half-expected the Shi'ar Empire to return, but the Kree? What a pleasant surprise! I honestly don't know if or hiw the Shi'ar interact with the other big space empires of the Marvel U (Kree, Skrull, Spartax, Asgard, anyone else?).

In the War of the Kings storyline, there was an all out war between the Shi'ar and the Inhumans. It eventually lead to an intense battle between Vulcan and Black Bolt. It was a crazy storyline. The Nova Corps also got involved.
