I was 7 in 1992 when this came out and it’s my FAVORITE animated series of all time. I still have the Pizza Hut VHS tapes!! I still have all the action figures from the 90’s and I even have the entire X-Men 90’s arcade game in my house. This is what led me to watch/love superheroes. Nobody is more hyped than I am right. If you steeped in my man cave you would see I’m not lying. I’m a OIF Army vet and man I might shed a tear when this comes on. It means that much to me and so many other 90’s kids.

The arcade game was based on the pilot for a different show, the pilot being Pryde of the X-men. You can tell that easily because Dazzler, who isn't in X-men the animated series, is a character in the arcade game.

I played the beginning episodes from season 1 last night and it hit me in the feels. The dialogue/ Storyline still hits different.

Rogue has not had a single line other than “HEADS UP” in all of these promos

I mean this is just what Disney does, they're not very friendly to the feminine body to begin with so the fact that they stopped at this is kind of surprising given the audacity they seem to have towards actually feminine women. Still weird that she has a uni-chest in most shots show so far. But it is what it is at this point.

Original series was 5 seasons so this would be season 6.

It's been awhile since I've been this excited about a release. I'm soo looking forward to the series while bringing back original voice actors and keeping true to the roots and where it left off in the 90s. Total nostalgia and absolutely love this on top of the golden age of action figure collecting. The 97' line is beautiful.

I didn't grow up with The X-Men Animated Series, But I do Love The X-Men Movies and just The X-Men in General So I'm Excited For This!!! It Looks Awesome!

Hopefully the MCU take notes. Everything I’ve seen so far from 97 gets it right

Hey I'm just hyped to see that Disney is actually promoting this properly, and the animation seems top notch. It reminds me of how, Batman The Animated series was when it first came out. It was meant for kids, but had a serious adult undertone to it, and it had great animation for it's time. Hopefully this series can be that type of excellence, because it's been awhile since we've seen something like this as a animated series... Great comic book action that's faithful to the comic books, with excellent animation, great story telling, and entertaining to both children and adult fans alike.
