I was worried at first cuz Manuel Lombardo has beaten hifumi Abe twice. He's definitely had some serious trick up his sleeve considering maruyama is a little rusty. But after the final match ended that I breathed a sigh of relief. Hahaha.
Why was the throw at 10:38 not scored against Maruyama?? Edit: I just noticed the clock ran out....

Maruyama after his lose against abe is kinda different.More serious.harder .i like it.But he should not use a sleeve seoiotoshi but a sleeve Taiotoshi.It´s stronger.

I’ve got a video of his other techniques somehow, he’s done it better in the past. I agree he’s more aggressive and harder now
Do you happen to know why the Italians prefer kata-guruma? i'm alluding to lombardo and basile

It's probably because of fabio basile. People always copy the top dog.fabio is obsessed with aesthetic. He wants to do everything with style.

@@simbabwe2907 Im italian and i can say kataguruma was very popupar before fabio. Plus if you look the olympic games, fabio did not use it once. Its not his technique. While is surely Lombardo's. Lombardo does not have to look up to Fabio. He is the lead man of italian judo now.

時間切れなのに対して相手選手が気づかず投げてるからですね。タイマーをよく見ていただくと分かりやすいと思います。

丸山もわかってるからこらえる気ゼロでしたからね。丸山はあんな甘い技の入り方で投げられる事はないですね。
I don't know Maruyama go to Tokyo, byt Only with uchi mata and tomoe isn't enough to olympic game.

6:14 moment actually Maruyama lost point. I don’t understand what was happen. Referee didn’t give the point that wrestler. In fact sports referee serves for high developed countries.

It was golden score, Maruyama knew this and let the guy throw him.

Also in the current rule set it was ne waza the minute the Mongolians back hit the floor. You can throw your opponent when they're on their knees if you pull them up (not horizontally) off the floor and then throw them. But if you go down to the floor it's ne waza. That was a fantastic and gruelling fight though and the Mongolian definitely had a chance to win.

なんか対策されてて内股とかうまくハマってない組み手とかもうまいのにうまく捌けてない気がした
7月25日 阿部選手がオリンピック王者になった。 兄妹での同日アベック優勝って事で、もの凄く話題になってるけど、丸山選手が出場しても絶対金メダル取れたと思う。でも、ここまで話題になったのかな？と思う

When I compete I really like when the public start screaming, using the horns ecc. It means that they're enjoying the competition and they push me to do more

この人、あんまり知らないのかも。後ろに倒れ込みながら投げる技を全て「巴投げ」と言ってるけど、かなりの確率で「浮技」を合わせてると思うがななあ。
ラッパみたいなやつうるさいなぁ 日本でやってほしい

Very strange that they did not count the score when Safarov threw him. It was quite neat, much cleaner than the one Maruyama scored seconds afterwards.

Efficient and impressive but sooo boring.
また、日本柔道強くなってきたよね。日本が強くなったのか海外が低迷してるのかどっちなんやろ？ 柔道が普及してきたと言っても、実は世界的にはテコンドーとかカンフー、少林寺拳法の方が競技人口も含め断然人気なんじゃなかった？今は柔道人口下降ぎみなのかな？ 柔道が圧倒的人気なんやと思ってた。
でも世界柔道なんて、オリンピック選手出ないから、サテライトの大会というか、オリンピック出れない選手達の慰みの大会みたいなもんだよね。

決勝の相手のロンバルドなんか世界ランク1で少し前の大会で阿部一二三のこと肩車で2回投げて勝ってますよ
