I started listening and enjoying classical, carnatic, ragas because of A R RAHMAN and Sid and later discovered that music is a never ending Ocean

I think the impact of this semi classical version,created by just three accompanying musicians is much more than the original filmy version where numerous of instruments have been used!

Both are interesting in it's own way..

Sid Sriram is outstanding and brilliant and has kept South Indian culture and tridition alive, when many Indians are moving to the west, just listening to him makes me think of the Greats carnatic music has produced.
