    I am a owner of Swift ZXI+ blue colour (same in video) bought in August 2018, but in my case it is manual transmission and I have only one issue with it that is blue colour, yes I did a mistake guys and don't go with dark colours until you have person who can clean your car after & before every single drive otherwise it's a beautiful car

    Tiago (petrol) is better in ride quality, its very smooth ride comfort. Why coz it has independent suspension. Swift tend to jump on speed breaker pot holes that easily enter in cabin, but this was absence in Tiago. So thumbs up Tiago

    +rajender1355 Compared to manual transmission, AMT gets lower mileage figures. With the manual transmission, you will get more mileage whereas an automatic transmission, will give you more ease to drive. Moreover, mileage of the car would depend on several factors like driving/road conditions, engagement of the clutch, tire pressure management, timely service management, etc. Also, driving your car at a moderate speed can increase the mileage by 33%.

    +jeyaprakash ananthan The Swift Z is a complete modern-day car. While there are feel-good features like leather on the steering wheel, a start/stop button and tweeters, the list of useful features is actually a lot longer. Features like parking sensors, auto climate control, rear defogger and wiper/washer, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, etc, promise to make your everyday commute in this car all the more easy and enjoyable. A set of alloy wheels and the option of an AMT means this variant will tick all boxes for those who don’t want their car to be too flamboyant on the outside. It offers the great value for money. Do take the test drive to clear all your doubts.

    Swift comes with a 2 star safety rating? Worth your life in it? How many airbags and what about ABS, EBD and traction control. Hill hold? Asking for too much, I know.

    I change gears @ 1.8 to 2k rpm on my mt Ritz diesel car. On my breeza diesel amt.... Driving on manual mode i change gears @ 1.8 to 2.2 k rpm.... Gears not upshift... I will do manually aimply it cannot upshift gears..... Upshift happen only above 2.5k rpm on manual mode..... Its is common for all amt diesel... Or there is specific problem in my car.... { note amt unit failed on my car in one month, and changed under warranty}

    +srinath chowdary The new Heartect platform has worked wonders for the new Swift and it now feels more composed than ever while doing triple-digit speeds and taking curves. Although the Swift has shed some weight, it feels more planted than before in both the diesel and petrol avatars. The steering is light and it isn’t the most communicative of units, but it doesn’t feel vague and requires no idle inputs to maintain a straight line. The light steering though will be enjoyable while parking and at city speeds. What comes as a surprise is that Maruti Suzuki has resorted to a rather firm suspension setup for the third generation Swift. Except when driven over really poor roads, the relatively stiffly sprung Swift feels more confident and very controlled on the road. Over very rough surfaces, you feel the thuds clearly in the cabin. By no means is the ride uncomfortable, but it isn’t as supple as the Baleno either.

    +Anurag vR The Swift is fun, economical, spacious and has a personality too. The Swift carries over its tried-and-tested 1.2-litre petrol engine. There’s no difference in power output either - the petrol makes 84PS and 114Nm. We loved thrashing the petrol Swift around; the thrummy, peppy engine can ensure quite a lot of giggles. In AMT version, Swift strikes a great balance between sportiness and smoothness. Shifts are almost seamless when you’re driving along at an easy pace. This is all the more apparent in the petrol, where the refinement of the motor and the smoothness of the gear changes complement each other really well. All in all, the new-gen Swift, then, is a package that is as sensible as it is exciting. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive in order to clear your all doubts.

    +Anurag vR Manual transmissions offer much greater control over the vehicle's driving dynamics. There's really no substitute for the driving experience and level of control over the vehicle that a manual transmission can offer. Apart from it, if you are more like the average driver who simply wants to get from one place to another in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, go with the AMT.

    +Anurag vR Yes, it's a valid point. Only manual cars are eligible in a driving test but our take on this is, this moment of your driving test will prevail for few minutes whereas, we should plan a car for long years that we're going to drive.

    Why you guys never talk about the crash tests results of the cars you test. Why don't you guys make the customer aware about the ratings which these cars get in global ncap which is also a liberal or light crash tests compared to euro ncap or other tests.

    +Somya Subham Swain Honda Amaze E Vs Maruti Dzire L: In their base variants, both sedans come with basic features such dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard. Apart from these features, the Amaze gets all four power windows and rear parking sensors. The Dzire, on the other hand, is equipped with tilt-adjustable steering. Since both power windows and parking sensors can be retrofitted, the Dzire’s tilt-adjustable steering gives it an edge. But that doesn’t discount the fact that power windows and rear parking sensors are crucial features and we expect every car above the entry-level hatchback segment to get these as standard. If there are more than one people driving the car, the Dzire seems to be the better choice as it offers adjustable driving positions. However, if you’re okay with the Amaze’s fixed driving position, then you should opt for the base-spec Amaze as it is better equipped than the Dzire.

    2 STAR ⭐️⭐️ safety rating Tin ka dibba and really overpriced interior quality poor, exterior quality poor, rear and front armrest missing, rear ac vents are missing, cabin insulation? average when you press horn you could feel vibration on acceleration pedal, sirf abs ebd aur airbags dene se tinke dibbe me koi fark nahi aata

    +Suhab Ansari If we talk about Swift Diesel AMT, you can really feel this AMT gearbox hard at work. At high revs, the delay in the shifts can really be felt, leading to a bit of head nod. That said, this gearbox’s logic is quite solid. Under most driving conditions, with the gear selector in D, you’ll rarely feel that the transmission is selecting a wrong gear, or isn’t shifting up or down when it’s supposed to. But we did notice a minor niggle in the diesel AMT. When you almost come to a stop in traffic and start moving again, the gearbox tends to hold first gear till you cross 2000rpm. This makes the engine feel stressed for no reason, especially when it has the bottom end torque to carry off those speeds in second gear. On the other hand, Nexon Diesel AMT, unless you go the whole hog on the happy pedal, head nod is negligible. The added dollop of torque makes up for what little laziness the transmission has, making shifts much smoother. It’s also good fun to drive in manual mode. Characteristic of diesels, you don’t need to tease the limiter to get to the creamy bit of the performance band. Even with a full passenger load, we had a ball getting the Nexon diesel AMT through the ghats.

    +Suhab Ansari The claimed ARAI mileage for the Maruti Swift Diesel automatic is 28.4 kmpl. Whereas, for Nexon Diesel it is claimed at 21.5 kmpl. Moreover, service network of Maruti and Tata is good. Although, Maruti has a upper hand here in terms of service network and spare parts availability as compare to Tata.

    will you all auto journo's ever gonna learn .. when you put out a long term review viewers expect solid facts . we all know the Indian consumers fascination with fuel economy and yet after using car for 10000 km you are still providing MID readings of fuel efficiency which are tend to off by atleast 20%, do the tankful method.

    +Hiren Chaudhari In terms of efficiency, the manual returned an amazing 19.74kmpl (city) and 27.38kmpl (highway). The AMT nearly matched the efficiency inside the city at 19.27kmpl, but was less efficient on the highway, delivering 22.21kmpl.

    Why is it so? On highway both manual and automatic will stay in 5th gear then there is no logic of power loss and should give same efficiency. Also lemme know have you faced issues of overheating or clutch plate brake pads failure?
