Suzuki Motor Corp. has unveiled an updated version of its eVX electric vehicle concept. This concept is a refined iteration of the one previously showcased earlier this year in India by Maruti, Suzuki's partner in the country. The latest model, on display at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, boasts several design changes compared to the version presented by Maruti at the Auto Expo in January.
Regarding its power source, the eVX is expected to come equipped with a dual motor configuration and Suzuki's proprietary 4x4 technology. The vehicle offers an impressive range, exceeding 50 kilometers on a single charge, according to Suzuki's claims.
Inside the cabin, the eVX comes with a range of features, including a sleek dashboard featuring a large, free-standing digital dual-screen, a two-spoke steering wheel, touch-sensitive buttons integrated into the dashboard for functions like climate control, menu navigation, and hazard lights, as well as vertical air-conditioned vents. Additionally, the car features door handles with ambient light patterns, enhancing its overall appeal. Mass production will begin at the end of 2024, as per the company. Global launch, meanwhile, is planned for 2025.
