turns out that even in SC Brood War there were still guys in the missile turret, they're pretty hard to see when you don't have the remastered edition...

Imagine beating Maru in 30 min game, and still loses the series in 5 mins the next game

Maru + 40+ Battlecruisers + Lowko = INSTANT CLICK, SMASHED like, COMMENTED, LETS GOOO. no sleep watching here :D

What the hell was that GOD tier micro by Maru in the last game against the Siege Tanks, jesus christ. Dude dropped the Cyclone with 1 health long enough for it to shoot and picked it up again as the Siege(d) Tank near the Factory was retargetting for it. Didn't lose the Cyclone, and gained time because the tank had to retarget twice. Beyond incredible, seriously.

It's the same sorts of crimes Protoss players commit routinely with Warp Prisms and Immortals. Dropship pickup micro is just absolutely criminal in what you can get away with if you're good at it.

Okay. Now for more sc1 vs sc2 ! They apparently had showmarch recently

LOWKO- siege tanks do MUCH MORE damage in siege mode- EVEN TO THE SIGLE PRINCIPLE TARGET. Don't know why people say that, but just look at liquipedia, or watch tanks in battle.

I think the impression forms because unsieged tanks are more effective at some kinds of fights because of their faster fire rate. They overkill less and acquire new targets faster so they clean up small handfuls of enemies really cleanly and efficiently.

If we had better observing we could have seen why Maru kept letting his bases in the upper left repeatedly get killed.

Imagine if the missile turrets took supply....

1. i thought that tanks do the same dmg unsieged just without the splash 2. love those kissing Battle cruisers 3. it makes me thinking SC1 BCs vs. SC2 BCs ... who is better little pewpew-guns or big BAM-gun?

Liquipedia has the numbers: Less damage, more firerate, slightly (but not hugely) higher dps. Mobile vs. sieged, we're talking 20dps vs. 19dps vs. light and 34dps vs. 33dps vs. armored, though the advantage becomes bigger with upgrades. Unsieged tanks are still often preferable because they're microable and eg. switch targets faster. A deployed Tank shoots once every two seconds or so, an unsieged Tank shoots three shots in the same timespan, so they overkill less and acquire new targets more efficiently.

The singular form of "criteria" is "criterion," not "criterium." It's one of those pesky English exceptions.

prediction before watching: maru is going to be behind for like 95% of the game, defends with 3 bases against 10, suddenly completely destroys his oppnent and making it look like it was easy

I dont know why, but on TvT i prefer Thors over BCs it Feels Better 😁
