Martindale Machete Restoration

Mum wanted her Machete fixed up, so I took on the project. The stamp says 'Martindale Birmingham Made in England, No 204.' Looking into it the 204 model was made in Birmingham till the 60s, till the factory moved but is still being made today. Though the company has been making machetes since the 1860s.

I have the same one. Many years ago you could buy five machetes like this with several different styles for under $15.00. I gave some away and I still have three left. They’re good utility machetes for the money.

Mum got her's in '89 at a pawnshop for under ten bucks. Nice to see they are still as good as before!
