Linda Ronstadt should by all rights, be inducted into BOTH the Country Music Hall of Fame AND the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Martina should sing THIS SONG at the induction ceremony!

I love Martina, she has arguably the greatest voice of any female country singer in history. I also love Linda Ronstadt. Just one problem. This is a Phil Everly song, and it was first sung by Phil and his brother Don. Proper credit really should have been given.

Love Linda and Martina - nothing Linda couldn't sing - but this was an Everly Brothers song and I believe they should get some credit in the introduction. Linda did an amazing job covering it - and Martina did it more than justice.

Great version but The Everly Brothers is what i think of when i hear this song and always will! 💚💚

Linda deserves all the praise in the world. Her influence is far more profound than the CMA/ACM acknowledges(Linda didn't hang with the Nashville Scene). Martina honors RONSTADT(best pipes ever)well.

Elegance personified, Martina is the best, full of charm and humility. Adorable personality.

Love Martina's rendition of this Universal song, that each and every one of us at some point on our lives, have felt as though it was dedicated to us.

When you get a loud standing ovation at a music Awards show you know you nailed it.

Jesus! Isn’t that just one of the greatest songs ever written? There could be a million songs written from now till whenever, but when some top level singer like Linda or Martina belts this out a hundred years from now, people will cheer and love it just like this crowd did.

Good Lord people, get real. Yes The Everly Brothers did the original and had a hit off it. Then Linda came along 20 some odd years later and had a frickin' SMASH hit with it. But give Martina her due....this is awesome! And it's a great tribute to a great lady who will never perform again.

Written by Phil Everly (1939-2014) the greatest harmony singer the world has ever seen. Recorded with his brother Don in 1960 as The Everly Brothers and solo in 1975.

Great cover of a fantastic song. Absolutely nailed it.

Not many can do justice to this song but Martina, Carrie, and esp Linda are all great.

Hard to cover the Queen of covers, but Martina never disappoints! Great rendition girl!

Honestly I never heard of Linda Ronstadt before until I heard Martina mention how much of a fan she was of hers. I think this is a great tribute from a legend of Country music to a legend of Pop music. Martina is a class act.

Love martina mcbride. No bs autotune these ladies have talent. The band is great too musicians doing what they do best. Martina is very easy on the eyes too.

big hit from the original's...The Everly Brothers, Linda's version just as big of a great hit, Martina's follow up great...just proves, a great song is truly timeless...when covered by "top shelf" talent.

Oh yeahhh!!👍👍 Brought a tear to my eye. Great job on hitting Linda's high note at the end of the last verse. A lot of us can relate to this song.

She's a very good singer, but this just proves what an utterly explosive voice Linda had.

I've seen Linda perform this live, believe me she was amazing. Martina, hearing you on CD's, or YT is a disservice. Feel the strength, warmth, & passion in person at her next concert, she'll also blow you away. Martina the torch has been passed. All my best to both ladies!

Martina is a great singer but also a great performer, she looks great, always has a sharp outfit and can connect with the audience well.

The singer.the back up.the audience.linda is so much very happy seeing one of her hits performed.WOWWW.

Well done Martina, the guitar solo was spot on! only a les Paul can sing like that!

She has an amazing voice when her and Pat Benatar did Country Cross Roads they sound great also.

I have just sat and listened to this beautiful singer for the past 1hr.

I am just now,age 62 working on the guitar solo I feel like this is a very positive vibe as opposed to the blues even a fast blues uses more minor notes here the challenge is, how positive and how much fun can you demonstrate in a 30 sec solo I love it

I downloaded this song when I heard this and I like this version better...

When I hear other artist cover songs from the previous or past artists, it makes me realize just how special gals like Linda Ronstadt, Donna Summer etc were... although these artist do nice covers or tributes. It always seems to pale in comparison to the sensational talents that they were...and it also seems that they were taken for granted, and don't get the recognition they so richly deserve.

Linda's cover versions of songs are so good that as good as the original versions are she overshadows them Blue Bayou is a perfect example she owns that song

Awesome version of the Linda Rondstadt cover of this classic song.. Just like Rondstadt covered the Rolling Stones classic " Tumbling Dice" and made it her own she has put her own mark on covers and this is just one of them.. Martina McBride did an incredible version of Linda's country rock version cover of the Everly Brothers classic.

Linda is imo the best female singer ever. Martina is also GREAT but the Everly Brothers are like honey on a hot rock. The greatest harmony singers ever!

I was a teen in the 70’s when I listened to her and she was Rock honey!! She was before Pat (76)and Joan (81)and the Wilson sisters (67)get your history right, Linda started in the 60’s!! Try not being such a neg nelly!!!

Martina McBride has a beautiful voice. She also looks a lot like the late actress Natalie Wood. So beautiful.
