I remember accidentally coming across This One's For The Girls about 9 years ago when I had just left school, started university and only literally just taken my first steps out of my childhood. I was 18 and I loved that song. 10 years later I came here to hear it again for the first time in ages. I'm 27 now and thinking about how my life has become exactly as Martina described in her other song "in little apartments just trying to get by on dreams and spaghettios", and I've found this song instead where she's STILL 10 years later singing songs for girls and women to get by on and she's STILL completely 100% relatable and man I feel old but I feel like her songs speak to me through all my life's different phases

I just love Martina´s voice. It´s so unique! Like her eyes :)

This show keeps super stars humble if they are paying attention to the struggling song writer and considers how truly God has blessed you and it's now you're chance to change a life by picking their song to record. There are no losers on this show because even if a song writer doesn't get their song selected, they get the opportunity to perform their song to millions of people. Amazing job! This sounds like a real country song and it is. Perfect for her voice. I loved the other songs but they didn't sound like a Martina song. She was looking for something that sounded the most country and this was it.
