I played almost every day with Martin Kabrhel in the late 1990s in Prague at the Aleks casino on Wenceslas Square. They were "famous" tournaments with a buy-in of 100-200 dollars :D. It must be said that Martin's table manners have not changed. He was still talking, he won almost everything he participated in back then and he also managed to recommend to everyone what we did wrong. So he managed for free to teach us how to play better. He's a poker genius who doesn't need to cheat.

Just embrace him and find the humour in it rather than get frustrated. He can't MAKE anyone angry. That comes down to his opponents' perspectives and the way they choose to react. Above all else, he's a very solid player too.

So happy for Brewer. Great player, who has suffered some tough beats and got a well deserved win. He handled Kabrhel brilliantly. Kabrhel is obviously annoying and his antics are incredibly frustrating. But poker of late has become this arena full of people needing to explain to others why they are 'monsters' and need to be better. Kabrhel's at work and he's hustling and trying to gain an edge to mitigate his lesser skill level so he can earn, support himself and his family. Not condoning or condemning it. Just explaining it. And that's the approach a lot of people take to for-profit, commercial work. I think Brewer understands that and as a result handled it with ease. Dan Smith and the like are so far removed that they think everyone should approach their work just like them. Learn from Brewer. Handle it, don't let him get in your head, trust the tourney regulators to do their job, use your skill advantage. And shut him up on the felt.

Looking at Dan I cannot help to think about Lord Helmet from space balls. As for the time things, before the 30 second rule there were players who took standard 1 minute so commenting about taking his time... sigh, I loved the table talk!! Also.. dont disturb me Im in a big hand. Brilliant, + great joke on the standing. He knows exactly top push buttons. Would hate to sit at the table with him but as a spectator.... cannot wait to see more.

He's going to have to change the behavior, or he will have so many unwilling to play with him, that venues will not want him. Doesn't matter if people should be more thick skinned in your opinion. He has to act decent, or he'll be done.

The game isn't only about getting great cards or outplaying them. There is a serious mental aspect to the game. If he didn't mark the cards, then this is genius gameplay by tilting the better players. Smith is BY FAR the best player at the table. Why not try to tilt him into 6th? When Smith went out, he could have turned his hand over and anyone folds 10/6, so clearly no cheating.
