Martin Grubinger:
Martin Grubinger is currently one of the best multi-percussionists. He learned the drums like a language at the age of three. The rhythm determined the day. "The Bruckner Symphony for brushing your teeth, Mozart for lunch," he says. His mission to establish the percussion as a solo instrument in the concert hall has succeeded. He himself contributes to this as a soloist, in an ensemble, in numerous world premieres and as a marimba player in concerts with salsa, rock, pop, jazz, classical or Afro-Cuban music.
Daníel Bjarnason:
Daníel Bjarnason is an Icelandic composer and conductor born in Reykjavík in 1979. Bjarnason studied piano, composition and conducting in Reykjavík.
