When i was 10 years old i walked into a Guitar Center store. I immediately found a fascination with the expensive acoustic guitars in that store. In particular, the Martin guitars! I knew THEN that i wanted to get one of those Martins. Well, here we are now many years later and finally walking home with one…. And not just any Martin, it’s a D41

@lousproductions3440 hahaha I totally understand. I play Classical guitar and acoustic steel string. I've gotten brand new Classical so definitely know the smell. Never a new Martin but my HD-35 has her own awesome smell like all guitars new or old. Definitely have smelled new Martins at guitar stores never out of the box though! Happy for you! Again, congratulations 🙏today is the worse she'll ever sound😂
That's not rosewood you're smelling, it's the cedar around the top and bottom used to add surface for glue joining the top and bottom to the sides.
