Martin Adams “ I Could not believe what I was reading. We buried it with Olly Croft”

Martin Adams “ I Could not believe what I was reading. We buried it with Olly Croft”
OnlineDarts spoke exclusively to the Three times BDO World Champion Martin Adams, as Wolfie talks about the BDO and how he could not believe that Des Jacklin was voted back in as Chairman. And says the BDO died with the late Olly Croft.
Also, Adams tell us that Q-School was never on his radar, but he still feels that there is still one more big title in him at the age of 64. Would that be the new WDF Masters?
It's great to see one of the all-time greats of the sport talking with such great passion about darts and looking to the future as he has no plans to pack up throwing just yet. #MartinAdams #Darts #BDODarts

As I grew up with darts I had very little time for Martin Adams, county darts with it's clique and the BDO (particularly post WDC/PDC). I felt similar about Bobby George and others with their bling. They appeared to be "wide boys", always playing second, third or fourth fiddle to their counterparts in WDC/PDC. That said, I have developed empathy and appreciation for the huge contributions and dedication Messrs Adams, George et al. have made to the sport of darts. Thank-you for what you have done for darts and I will admit I was nieve and wrong in many of my views. I hope I have made some sense lol.

If I was a player on tour and missed out to someone lower ranked than me I would feel that it was unfair, however I can understand that the PDC wants to give these female players a chance to inspire a future generation of women to take up the game of darts. Hopefully within a couple of decades we'll see an equal split of male and female players competing at the very highest level 110+ averages etc, ability to play darts is afterall not majorly limited by our bodies
