March, march Polonia or March of Czachowski, also known as March of Polonia - a Polish insurgent song, one of the varieties of Mazurek Dąbrowski. The song was created in 1863 during the January Uprising among the troops commanded by Dionizy Czachowski. Its initiators were probably soldiers from Galicia, as evidenced by both the text and the selection of melodies.
