Marshall blue tooth speakers are my favorite. I rock a killburn 2 when I go mountain biking after we are done and camping and out side and it still thumps and sounds great. Was thinking about getting this one as well Just wish it had the strap handle also

I prefer that JBL over the Marshall, more balanced sound with a fuller midrange. The Marshall looks better though for sure.

How is the 90 Tribit holding against Marshall?

They both have their places. I have an original Stanmore since 2014. It recently died because its power supply has failed and I will be repairing it! Love the sound and the original has SPDIF inputs. If I were to replace it I would definitely go with the Woburn as that goes to 11! I have the original JBL Extreme as well. It sounds more like a Bluetooth speaker than a Marshall! 😛

Similar situation. I have the original Stanmore and it just died. I reached out to Marshall and they said to send it in to be checked out but I don't know if that means they will repair it or not. I'm thinking about just upgrading to the new Woburn model if they can't fix it.

Not me...I bought the jbl partybox 310 ($400) sale ....with 240 watts of power....much larger cabinet with pumping sub woofers along with an actual usb port to plug and play my songs directly. The jbl also has 18 hours of battery life...wheels to transport...handles to carry .DJ sounds...light effects....guitar and microphone jacks all for $400 sale price....Partybox 310. Dont get me wrong...I almost bought Marshall as its quality goes unsurpassed. Marshall probably outlasts jbl. The JBL shown here is a freaking joke.😂 Partybox rules

@Flossy Carter right good point lol but they're called the dyson zone headphones with air purifiers built in the ear cups. Idk I've heard good things about those. The price on those is tgh But you already know how Dyson does with some of their products lol. Me personally my goal is to get a pair of bose quiet comfort 45 headphones with anc though.

I was listening to this on my relatively large speakers. The Marshall has a far better base even with the JBL's base quality. Like, it's close, but the Marshall for me wins in basically every category because I felt like I could hear and understand more of the lyrics, hear more instrumentation, and the base was far deeper and richer than the JBL. I'd personally buy the Marshall because it sounds far better than what JBL's got going.

Sony xg500 or this? Or something from JBL? I have around $350-400 to spend.. I want loud, booming bass but great sounds. It will be staying inside my house.

Did you try and factory reset?

Marshall cannot withstand any water/dust etc. I don't own either. It'd be nice to see you leave the meter directly in the middle of a unit a measured distance away...then repeat the process and RECORD the unit instead of holding it in your hand. If i had to put any speaker in my office or home to listen to every day...id go with neither and use sonos zone controllers for no blue tooth stuff.

You’ve missed out on the New Ruby Young Bluetooth Speaker M430. It’s a great competitor at the same price.

These are nice but I still use my small portable Marshall the most.

Since the MARSHALL is plugged in, wouldn't it only be fair to plug in the EXTREME & BOOMBOX 3. The EXTREME 3 puts out 100 watts in A/C MODE. The BOOMBOX 3 puts out 180 watts in A/C MODE.
