i do appreciate you Mr. Marriott Jr.for the immense energy you stored in yourself and you just inspire other to be in the same platform taking care of the guest beyond their expectation. I personally thank you for a recognition award of Spirit to Serve that you signed for me while i was working at Vail Mountain Resort & spa , Marriott, Vail, Colorado, USA.

I was an intern as a foreign student at Marriott headquarter thirty years ago. I still remember they put on the wall something like “Everyone’s opinions are important.” It was also impressive that Mr. Marriott takes lunch at their employees cafeteria. This experience had a great influence on my attitude once I entered the real business world after college graduation and came back my country. Thank you.

Great interview. Pleased to see Mr.Bill Marriott online as energetic and businesslike exactly 20 years before from now. I am saying this because my wife, Maijargal, and me met him and his family members many times at various events including his own family ranch party during my service in Washington D.C. Best wishes from Mongolia.

Marriott started hotel business in 1957 and in 2014 they reached 4000 hotels. That is 70 hotels a year.

I could not let another day go by with expressing my sincere gratitude for this video. My son Major studies Coordinate Grids in the 5th grade. Over the summer we have been doing a review of the concepts learned; he said something that made my face light up with glee, " Always go across the hotel lobby before you take the elevator. " I am a student of Forbes School of Business and Technology @ Ashford University there I am studying Cost Volume profits. His strategy reminded me of this video I watched in a Forbes Showcase at school. I watched it several times and had gained so much more insight that will allow me to see patterns &relationships as well as the effects of using different recipes. I will be sure to tell my classmates about my enlightenment. Thank you, Mr. Marriott and Forbes Media
