Hi Kathleen, thanks for watching! I had been able to stay there during my stay in Japan, all the way up to Dec 3rd 2020. Booked all of my stays on the Bonvoy app. Maybe they aren’t allowing bookings past a certain amount of time, with this pandemic? Once you are able to go, I highly recommend this hotel. 😊 Hope the pandemic will be behind us by then and you have an amazing visit to Japan!

Thank you for watching! Yes the breakfast was free. If I remember correctly, I chose free points as my welcome gift, as breakfast was already included in my status perks. But recently I have stayed at a few locations where I had to choose between points or breakfast, so I’m not sure if that has changed since my last stay there in 2020!

Did you really use the shampoo and conditioner? I haven't used either for 20 years

Hi, yes there was complimentary breakfast. From what I remember, they don’t have a lounge for elite members, but they did offer evening snacks at their bar area. Not sure though.

@@TravelCoffeeAndy Thanks for the feedback! I'm actually torn between AC vs the Aloft next door. Points-wise, they cost about the same since the tier-levels are similar now. Did you find the breakfast at the AC to be better than that of the Aloft?

Ahh, two great hotels next to each other! Always a tough choice, but very different vibe. AC is more simple and elegant feel overall. Aloft has their usual funky vibe with lots of cool lights and visual effects. In my opinion, the rooms are bigger at the AC. And if you like to soak in a Japanese-style bathtub, AC’s twin bedrooms have it. (King bed rooms only have showers). At my age, I prefer the more toned-down AC, but the food is delicious at both locations, and Aloft has a cool rooftop bar with delicious hot dogs. 😊 I did also feel that the breakfast options were better at the AC, but they both have small dining space so not much of a difference in variety. Like I said, both were delicious.
