Peggy 😍 The best sitcom out of the US hands down. They also broke the mold of "perfect TV family" that was on every show prior. Amazing writers, perfect casting, and while overblown in the opposite direction it was far more relatable.

This show was iconic. There was a time in the States that very few people didn't at least know of it.

Not joking when I say this was the most accurate depiction of the typical American family of its time lol. This show way my favorite as a kid and Ed O'Neil is a legend👏

One of all time favorite shows. I was only 6 when it first aired in 1987, but I watched it with my dad when I was around 8, still watch it anytime I see it on.

I watched this show faithfully back in the late 80s and early 90s. AL is my hero ! 🤣

The cast is coming back to do an animated revival. I hope it goes well.

You guys have to keep in mind that Christina Applegate was 15 when the show started and about 26 by the time it concluded

Married With Children was one of extremely few shows I watched every episode, from beginning to end. I had just entered my senior year in high school when the Pilot episode aired. One if my favorite series if all time. Most brilliant writers I had ever heard fir dialigue.

Grew up on this show and now my kids are too lol glad they still show all the reruns on TV, it never gets old. People complained about this show when it started, but that complaining only made more people tune in and watch it lol

This was one of my favorite shows as a child. They did an episode in the UK. It had a backstory and a twist, where of course, the bundy's couldn't catch a break. Not even across the pond.

There were cell phones but they were unbelievably expensive and were the size of suitcases. My dad had one and it cost $3/min+ to call which was crazy for the 80s. But there were no PCS/GSM phones for 10 years and def wouldn't be smartphones for 2 decades.

That is actually an amazing idea. Reboots almost never go well, and somewhat ruin the legacy. A cartoon version would eliminate that I think if it sucks.

Kathy Sagals dad directed Elvis in his movie Girl Happy. Katy said Elvis was so nice. ❤ Christina Applegate has been in a lot of things. She was in the series Dead To Me. But she’s had some health problems in recent years. I’m not sure if it’s Parkinson’s or something else but when I saw her getting some kind of recognition, for something I can’t remember what it was now, she was needing assistance to keep her balance and get around. One of my favorite lines was between Bud and Kelly. She told him her hippie name was Peace and he said “yeah, peace” and spelled it out “P.I.E.C.E”😂

The UK has their own version of Married With Children called 'Married For Life'. Literally follows everything.

Also, in the opening credits when you see the freeway outside of Chicago, that clip is taken from the National Vacation movie and if you look close enough, you can see the Griswalds car leaving Chicago.

I loved Married w/Children back in the day starting in the late 1980's & then all of the 1990's. Their final episodes were their adventures in the UK. However, this compilation is haphazard, cut & edited at odd places in the scenes, so that you expect the whole scene to be finished but sometimes you don't get to the punchline. It's not just edited cleanly. I hope you get more Married w/Children compilation reactions, such as "Best of Al Bundy's Insults" or similar. You guys are right though, you probably will not see these kinds of sitcoms anymore because they were not very politically correct for today's era. By the way, the daughter actress Christina Applegate had breast cancer twice & got a mastectomy and reconstruction at age 39. It kinda puts perspective on thirsting for a hot babe at her age during the sitcom & then struck with the awareness that even hot babes can get ill & get some of her womanly parts removed or rearranged. Update: Oh wait a second, you did do one Al Bundy Best Insults already, like a year ago.
