This ending was so realistic and not the usual nollywood ending-man says sorry and the woman goes back to the relationship or she meets someone else and jumps into another relationship; instead it was about self discovery, growth and knowing her value as a human being; that conversation at the end with Ik is exactly what happens when a woman realizes and embraces her value as a human being even when she still loves her husband/boyfriend. You did an excellent job in telling this story and the cast definitely understood the assignment-including the children! The storyline didn’t seem tired and old, you actually made it into your unique story because of your acting skills.

I liked the fact that Chioma didn't go back to her husband when he realized his mistakes and apologized. Nollywood movie makes it look like husband's could literally get away with there crime with a simple apology.

The part where the girls hugged their mum after hearing their dad throw insults at their mum got me emotional and teary and am like, mothers and married women endure so much, this hubby is a night mare he doesnt deserve chioma she is deserves better

This was good,thank God she found herself,before it's too late. A lot of men and woman never get out of a relationship or marriage such as this one in the movie. IK OGBONNA, is a mad man!, "too much information"🤔😆😁😄. Reminds me of the legendary but absolutely mad man, Jimmy Ike, it is great to see we have men capable of total wahala.

This is what we can call a good movie per excellent. Good storyline, lovely casting and well acted. Kudos to all the crews and casts.

Is it just me? I do not want the movie to end. The movie is just too funny and, at the same time, interesting. Thank you, Uche, and the entire crew.

Great ending. I love the idea she didn't just picked up an go back to him. Men hate when women take a stand for themselves. Its good that chioma got her groove back 🔙 and that he could've deal with it, the fact he said if she is seeing someone else. Hello! Some men need to change their dotty ways. Excellent work cast and crew.

i hope this movie motivates many women out there who are facing similar situation to rediscover themselves and live for themselves and their children

Ike is a very good actor, the scene where he mentioned update IOS got me laughing. This movie shows what most people go through. Abuse is not only when one punches the spouse, emotional abuse is real. How she endured it for so long is what I do not get, but the truth is most women in Nigeria endure worse just to remain married cos in our society we look down on women who are single. We groom our women to depend so much on men. I like the fact that she left ❤❤❤ Beautiful movie I love the story

I was irritated from the beginning of the movie. 1.This is a replica of what my life was years ago when I chose the path of marriage over building a career. It is how they claim not beating you is doing you a favour 2. It reminded me how dense I was and how I never spoke up. Men who cheat have the audacity to not only accuse their women but call them prostitutes as well. I hate the thought that this is not just a movie but actually happens as in real life. People go through so much. There are men that also suffer emotional torture from heartless/senseless women.

Brilliant production. Excellent acting. Relevant storyline. Superb script. She was more patient than many would be in such an awful situation. And John's wife was soooo lucky that her husband not only took her back didn't serve her up her portion in kind. Don't lose yourself to the point of annihilation, invisibility, derailment of YOUR destiny and destruction of your better self for a spouse who refuses to appreciate you. If he (or conversely the wife) can't appreciate you a little bit, even less will a greater portion of you be appreciated. Truly the adage of "You never miss your water until your well runs dry" AND "Don't throw pearls before swine.'

1:21:26 the way Chioma was laughing at Chidi when eating food he thought Chioma has poisoned the food 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but IK killed mi with Jumbo in their characters the way they were talking to each other in Igbo😅😅,Moral of the fact that our men should respect us i felt pain for Chioma the way her husband was disrespecting her in the presence of his friends and their children "that trauma"😢😢😢 great movie ❤❤

Great movie, and an even more amazing ending! Who ever thought of an option #3 Stay separated and work on Self-healing, empowering,value, respect and love? We tend to usually choose either option #1 Divorce, or option #2 Remain captive in the marriage. So inspiring and empowering to see the way she spoke lovingly for herself at the end. Also, I'm pleased to see for once that there was no depiction of physical abuse, in spite of all the emotional, psychological and mental trauma she experienced. Great film!💜
