Dr. Harley is a very wise man. I cannot speak highly enough of his love and devotion towards supporting marriage. I was married for 10 years and wish I knew of Dr. Harley and his book "His Needs Her Needs" before I was married. I strongly encourage any married couple to read "His Needs Her Needs" . single ? Read "Buyers Renters and Freeloaders".....married with a spouse in an affair? Read " Surviving an Affair ".
I love the logic and work of Dr. Harley for relationships. I love his basic 10 concepts, his basic 4 emotional needs for men and women and the concept of adding deposits to a love bank. Here is his first video, and it gets better from there!
For many years psychology was about helping people back to their emotions around a subject as most people bury them or try to distract themselves from them. During counseling sessions these emotions would tear the relationship apart as the emotions became even more pronounced. Willard finally put an end to that with his shared exciting activity model and many supportive ideas. Even though the books are monogamy based I find the concepts excellent for bettering any modern relationship/s you find yourself in. I'm happy to hear his work is still a success forty years later.
This I is very tough and easy project, but a life long work.
It certainly helped my marriage ❤
Such a pity that the interviewer didn't at least skim the book before the interview. I'm glad that they were able to correct him as he had make the mistake re the withdrawal concept from earlier in the conversation.
every wife and husband should read this book.
Stop interrupting.
Thanks for your advice!
love it!
it's a great book
i thought about psychology as a degree and went down the business studies route instead. Psychology may have been a better route for me.
