Marrakech Morocco - Prepare for Sensory Overload! - Leg 84

Welcome to the city of Marrakech! Be prepared for all your senses to be on fire during your visit! During our three night stay (and that's all you really need), we visited the obligatory tourist destinations: Jemma El Fna, Koutoubia, Badi Palace, Ban Agnaou, Saddian Tombs, Ben Yousuf, Le Jardin Secret and Bahai'i Palace. There are so many other places to see but we ran out of time. I'm going to add those suggestions to the blog when we publish it (see our website).
Although Marrakech can be overwhelming, it's such an amazing city to visit. Just be prepared for sensory overload and take precautions with a few aggressive individuals.
We stayed at Riad White Flowers.

And so the odyssey continues ... you both look so happy and healthy (in spite of the cold you had Kelly) ... kudos to you both for not shying away from much! Glad you made it to the Dutch side of Sint Maarten too. Morocco looked amazing ... love how you make friends everywhere you go ... let the journey continue ... happy trails to you both!

Madrassa was and still is ! It’s just that in Arabic language we don’t say a school because it would be the English language … most countries expect people who visit them ether they know the local language or they hire someone to interpret … and yes we study our religion Islam in madrassa or SCHOOL … no lgpt or how to use condoms for underage students… long live free palestine 🇵🇸

Yeah even us locals agree that they should lower the price for that garden thing, it's a trendy thing circling around in social media lately, they are pricy for what they have to offer honestly.

Why are the cats an issue. There is a great symbiosis between cats en the people. Maybe you've noticed but you will not find a single rat in the medina.

Very true! No rats/ mice! As a tourist observation and talking to some locals, not all of them are treated that well unfortunately. Some are terribly sick but no “real” owner to care for them. Again, from a visitor perspective. ❤️
