Poor Marquis having to come up with an excuse to live with his wife.. lol This man has the patience of a saint. He's waited for her to be ready for such a long time. He's getting closer to breaking her shell. She loves him but I think she's scared. They had such a rocky start. I think him comparing her to her sister didn't help...lol It took him a minute to see that she was different from her sister/Madam Luo. Once he figured out that her true character he couldn't help but fall in love with her. The way he looks at her speaks volumes. It's written all over his face how much he loves his wife. The way she cares for him shows her love for him. They are made for each other.

They are truly getting to know and BEGINNING TO understand each other, even without any words being spoken. It is in early stages, but still something is slowly beginning to bloom. 😉

OMG I love how patient and respectful Marquis Lingyi is, he already fell for Shiyi, and wants to kiss her but since she pulled away, he respected her and stopped, that is a true gentleman. Now he is going to wait for her to come to him. Also can we take a minute here to appreciate the beautiful clothing they're wearing, all the ladies and even the Men are wearing gorgeous clothes. Bravo to the production team, directors, make up and costume, everyone deserves an award for this drama.👏👏👏❤❤❤💯🏆🏆

@@bettylok9001 並非如此，要說對她好，區公子也是盡全力對她好，因為被好好對待而產生的那不是愛，是感動、感激之類，她愛侯爺還是因為侯爺是她欣赏的那种人，正直、明智、体谅，大方，能力出众，什么事情都能迎刃而解，区公子聪明倒是聪明的，但经常做事不合适，界限感比较差。

It is very clear that the female lead did not want to sleep with her husband at this stage. If the male lead insisted on his husbandly rights, like what you are implying, it will certainly be consistent with history but will not look good on a drama series made for modern viewers. It will not be good for the character to be seen as a rapist using modern sensibilities, specially in a romance. If you want more accurate depictions, perhaps you should watch tragic historical series or documentaries.
