Bulletboys were great! Freakshow was severely underrated. And of the 80's singers, his voice has held up a HELL of a lot better than most all of them!

Good interview. I remember him being a fixture here in the San Gabriel Valley party scene. He was such a young badass & ahead of everyone else musically as a teen. Seen him tear it up at the Starwood as a 3 piece, Marq as vocalist & guitarist, all eyes on him. Then to see him in Ratt & just move on & then to be in Tower Records shopping & see Marq on the back of a King Kobra live album, unreal. Then the BulletBoys on TV. Good Times

Super happy that you managed to get an interview with Marq - your interviews are without a doubt the best, they have the best formats, you’re a great speaker too and very respectful. Huge respect to Marq, I love the Bulletboys, I love RATT, so for me this interview is absolute magic. I watched it with a smile on my face, and love hearing Marq speak and share his life experiences. I saw Marq live about 5 years ago, and I wished I had approached him for an autograph. He is a super singer, and entertainer. It’s unreal how entertaining Marq is. Great that he is able to still bring the complete package to his live shows. Amazing, super, excellent - love Bulletboys and RATT 👌🏼👍🏼

Great interview again Jason, Marq has an interesting musical history before the Bulletboys. Absolutely killer debut they dropped and I had the pleasure of meeting them in 1989 on their debut UK tour in Nottingham and Manchester. We walked around Nottingham a little bit with them, totally in awe at their humble/down to earth attitude. Great gigs, and what a frontman, which is hard to believe he kind of reluctantly fell into dropping the guitar.

Another awesome video Jason. Cool photo with the band! I'd say that was 1991 also since that's how they looked during the Freakshow era. People can say what they want about Marq, but everything I've seen about him has shown that he is one of the hardest working people in this business and extremely loyal to the BulletBoys brand. He's got a storied past which makes him an important part of the Los Angeles rock scene of the last four decades.

@@greggheslin2724 Yes I do agree with you; man. But not that many read guitar magazines back then as the lack of pictures and music info. Lynch was mentioned often regarding the Ozzy thing. It seem that nowadays they all can lie as they don't care. Ozzy clan will not make a statement about the Bullet Boy guy claiming being in the Ozzy history. For me Bullet Boys came out we thought ooookay that guy knows who David Roth is,lol

@@stevedamien638 lol I’ve already wasted to much of my time talking bout the Bullet Boys lol… I just really enjoyed seeing the new line up and was glad Marq is still doing it. My bands were Skid Row n Lynch Mob of that era.

I thought BB were the bookend band to White Lion, both fizzled out too early with much more potential left in the tank
