Listening to the show again while I do other things because it's funny. I did watch some and realized something: apparently all those deaths count and through magic, Briggs comes back. Long says Briggs needs Long to kill him again and again. He could be referring to the start, but the mask also tells you to try again sometimes.

I enjoyed this season so much that I bought the game. Although from the look of these last couple of episodes, I'll probably never finish it.

I know it's annoying, but it's one of those games where if you take time to figure it out, it gets much less tedious. A lot of enemies can be skipped in this video for example, and Josh never blocked. Marlow Briggs doesn't have that atmosphere of "get gud" but it's worth applying some thought to the button mashing.

Shame the developer closed shortly after, they could have made something really good if they put their mind to it.

you really need a lock-on function in this game, it seems. like the final boss and that posessed berzerker, watch how much time josh spends missing, just because delicately orienting yourself to face the one opponent you have seems very finicky and time consuming
