The U.S government conquered the Indian tribes and then gave them land. Then the government started to give out money to the Indians. Those "Natives" should be grateful for what they have. Lots of Conquered peoples didn't get anything of that magnitude from their Conquerors.

Marlon Brando was blacklisted from Holywood for doing these things. He got his later roles in movies thanks to directors excplicitly wanting him on set while all the Holywood studios were against hiring him. They spread all malicious rumors about him being difficult to work with blah blah when in fact very few people and co stars complained about him. Majority of these rumors about Brando come from "industry insiders". What Brando was doing here might be considered PC today but back then this was the opposite of PC.

Minority or not, a man who stands up in support of someone or somebody who is being wronged…. I will follow that man straight into hell knowing I’m with the right sort of people who just want to see a better life for themselves and the individuals who inhabit that space with them. God bless these people who have voiced concerns for others

The Don was a real one both in the film and in real life. In the movies he attempted to liberate and bring peace amongst the mob families. In real life he had the backs of the black community. What a man😊
