Respect to Mark Williams. Mark Selby couldn't recover from his really bad start. MW will train again for 1 hour a week.

Watched Tatiana Woolaston come up through the ranks, very good referee. Love Mark Williams, always happy to see him win. That 14th frame was the kind of game I really love in snooker, the high breaks are fun to watch, but those frames where it's really shot by shot are what I enjoy most.

I wouldn't say i love them but i take your point. I feel the threat of a frame like that is what keeps the players honest, not even someone like Selby wants that type of frame but it's an integral part of the game. Wholly engaging all the same

Nice comment from Williams but for me Selby is 5th best player behind Ronnie, Hendry, Davis, Higgins. Although Selby could over take Higgins if he wins a few more titles especially world championship.

Love watching the cat and mouse of the sly old fox's the younger ones that are watching can learn much from this you have to be able to play safe to be able to force a mistake from your opponent and try not to affect your own ability to pot the balls

Congratulations to MW, he's a class act, along with OSullivan and Riggins they have displayed longevity in the game, lots of players seem to come and go but MW is always there or thereabuts. My only personal reservation is that winning any tournament somehow feels incomplete when OSullivan isn't playing in said tournament, it almost feels like like a 'what if' situation. Having said that I think MW played some great snooker, as did Selby.

Has Neil Robertson packed in snooker or what. A few seasons ago, he was in the semi final minimum of everything but he's been nowhere this season. Bizarre really.

The referee in this Final is unacceptably slow, and constantly taking too long to re-spot the colours and interfering with the players shot rhythm. You can see the players waiting for the referee, which should never happen. Imagine this referee trying to keep up with Ronnie in his 5min 147 years ago? No me neither, she would have completely ruined that 147 for him, that it would likely not have happened.

Experience wins at the end of the day😂

It's a little bit disappointing for a fan of Mark Selby; I ,personally, think his overall performance in the final is much lower than his performance in the match with Si JiaHui.
