Love this video Mark. *theproofisinthepudding* I am convinced that with Neocaridina it is advantageous to do water changes. But with Caridina it causes stress and with the frequent water change system you kill the good aerobic filter bacteria, creating instability that causes the shrimp to become overstressed, stop breeding and die. Water changes also cause pH increases and pH decreases, something that Caridina shrimp cannot tolerate. Love❤Your content

I do enjoy the longer style videos. It lets us get a better idea of how you do things and it hopefully makes it easier to just have a static camera and to do some work. The only issue is going back to them and trying to find specific things that happened if they aren't tagged or described well. As an example, for this one... "Moving a row of tanks" in the title or description would help the KZread search to point us back to this video whenever we search for it to share the issue with another hobbyist. Beyond that, yeah! I enjoyed the older series you did *Into the shrimp room* and it was great. Hopefully you're feeling better and back is ok with all that work done! Thank you for everything Mark, you're the best.

Rushed and cut 3400 times back and forth isn't enjoyable but this is. Reality and a day in the life is much more entertaining than the put on crap. You need a small, low flow-like 5v usb pump and a small piece of bubble wrap for putting water back. For the pvc holes- just cut at the hole and use union- dbl slip.

Nice calm talk about the hobby, I like that kind of content. As you are talking about reduced food/waterchanges ... excessive waterchanges were and still are pushed by the shops/channels which also sell or advertise fertilizer and food ... they tell the unaware that water changes remove toxins, but in most cases of a decently cycled+planted tank water changes just remove all the elements and microlife the flora and fauna want for a healthy growth. fairly easy to save a lot of food, water and fertilizer by simply replacing waterchanges with water tests ... with growing experience one also can recuce the testing over time. And please get yourself a cheap water pump to transfer water, pains me to see you lifting buckets and wasting so much effort and time using a jug. Dont make your life harder then it has to be.
