I was looking at collage this week too. That and assemblage are hard to define that specifically as they are so open to interputation. I would guess the artist that made the work would have the final call on that. But yeah, I like both types of art. Thank, enjoy the summer.

@@ImperfectPaintings ik was op bezoek in het KMSKA tentoonstelling van Jef Verheyen..... vooral zijn monochrome zwarte, rode en witte schilderijen .... super vooral die glazing techniek vind ik boeiend

Thanks, Hart. I thought so myself, some time ago, but it surprised me, when I tried once myself, how much awareness i still have available about te position of the paper, my brush and so on. Changing hands and eyes open was a way more interesting experience. See for yourself, it's very interesting to investigate thoughts like yours and give it a try. A valuable experience. Let me know what happened. Albert
