Mark is such a nice and humble person. He's been my hero since I've heard Sultans of swing for the first time. Real geniius. And the studio is fantastic...

He will always be a hero of mine, from his guitar playing, to his singing, to his songwriting, and for his constant quest to present his music with the best tone possible. Bravo Mark Knopfler.

What a gentleman you are Mark; how you treat everybody, and all of your treasures (all that wonderful gear, and all of those beautiful instruments), with dignity and respect. What a treasure trove (you have) at Grove (couldn't help it!) And best of all, we can book it! 😊

Looking forward so very much to hearing you play live again Mark! The last time I saw you you brought me to tears (with Coming Home), and you (and Guy) have just done it again playing the very same song with your tribute to Sir Stirling Moss at Goodwood .. I can't imagine a greater honour .. thank you, infinitely .. Rest In Peace Sir Stirling ...

Trust me, sir, it means as much, or nearly as much to me. What a dream recording palace! In my daydreams, i have this nice house with a recording studio attached to it on this gorgeous piece of land overlooking a river down below....but then i come to and sit in this lousy flat in the ugly part of Vienna, haha!

Thanks for this fascinating tour! Being able to adapt the acoustic of your main space is great. You certainly appear to have achieved maximum flexibility here, and it's clear that a ton of dedication has gone into the studio.. I shudder to think how much all of this cost. My sincere congratulations to you all on the award! 🎶⭐👍

This is so funny to me. Read an interview in an EQ or Mix Magazine years ago with these 2 guys. I never heard any of their music but they dropped some recording gems in that interview. Now I have to go back and read that interview with an English accent...thought he was an American. The wonders of KZread...good stuff.

Little glimpses of the recording world really makes the music come alive for me. I can just see Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones in there, making their last two albums (which are great!) For me, it makes listening to MK's music so much more intimate, so keep these jewels coming!!

Cause Mark is such a nice and gentle guy everybody would wish that he and David could resetup their relation-chip and that Mark could help his brother's career. Both should be based on a real brotherhood without emotions of false proud or envy. Everybody knows that David's financial situation is stressed even to pay a studio and Mark could do something special here. You only have one life and one brother 🤷

Perhaps remember Clapton was starting out 14 years earlier. He's now got a nerve condition that makes it harder to play hence he's only got 3 shows lined up this year. Don't compare apples and oranges.

Mark looks and sounds like a real human being but you get the feeling it's all pulleys and cables - the magician resides elsewhere, where the hidden heart of icebergs dance about a blue flame, where Pharaoh's and mystics chew the fat and toss crumbs into the world of men
