Mark was the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits from 1977-1988, and from 1990 to 1995. He pursued a solo career after the band dissolved, and is now an independent artist. So if the name sounds familiar, he has had a great career with Dire Straits and now on his own.

yes, i love Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler solo. Btw these 2 have reacted a lot to Dire Straits already, just in case u wanna check out. For example "Tunnel of Love" with this fantastic guitar parts.

Some fantastic songs but if I had to choose the title track is probably my favorite.

The end solo of this song is the greatest piece of music to have ever come to my ears. Great reaction! Love conquers all.
