I really like MC Ribbz. He's been my favourite Rave MC for over 20 years. He doesn't distract away from the Techno. Never has. An intelligent, rather quiet, MC. I think he's excellent. He pissed all over the MC's at Tribal Gathering 1996 (metaphorically speaking!). He seems to defer to the Techno rather than distract from it. MC Ribbz is the man you want at a Rave. All day long. MC Ribbz, respect to you for 20 years.

Mc Ribbz was without doubt my favourite MC. The rest basically just liked the sound of their own voice, and never shut up. Most thought their incessant harping on was more important than the Music people had come to dance to. But with MC Ribbz he knew exactly when to use his voice to get the crowd going, what he said was always clear, and powerful. Respect to him.

@@timothy7391 He’s the best, been around since the beginning and MC’d and probably DJ’d at every U.K. event I can’t think of. Top bloke as well, been to many an after party with him. Smoking and mixing on the decks for hours, had to drag him off. Proper rave royalty and it will be a sad day when he hangs it all up.

Absolute class MC and good DJ naturally I have sent it as a Christmas present to boring people.!

Shit when I used to go raving back in the 90's everything was still in black and white. But the tunes and atmosphere were way better.

Mark eg is really crazy and one of my favorites of course!!!

Ribbz is a slick MC, his voice and style suited techno so well. He knows when to MC and respects the tunes. Not many other MCs managed that, me and my mates used to buy the Obsession tape packs from our local record shop, we would always hope he was Mcing and not Stevie hyper d! ha. The set I really remember is Derrick May at Universe with strings of life at the start. I met him at club uk once, where he was DJing.
