The great Mason Jar shortage of 2020. Moonshiners and cultivators across North America got hit hard. For myself it was a blessing having to delay harvest. I have never had to pre order 1.9L wide mouth jars in all my years of growing. I stocked up this past winter and made it part of my routine from this year forward.

Are you kidding.....no one jars their harvest anymore. What planet are you living on? Just the legalization of marijuana has pushed mason jar production up by 30%. With the plandemic everyone started to get their hands dirty in the garden. Here in Canada all gardening supplies were sold out all season. That was a hint to everyone to get their jars secured in the spring to avoid losses come fall harvesting or face huge yield loss.

For the mayo jars, I'd just go home and open them up into a contractor trash bag and dump them out. Wash the remainder out with a hose. If there was a concern of something like food poisoning from Botulism, you could get a big vat of boiling water going and fill each one up and let it sit for a while with boiling water in it before finishing the washing. That's a lot of work/gas regardless. The mandarin oranges wouldn't be too bad.

It better all come off right down to the thousandth of an ounce or it will affect the flavor of the liquor not only that all the dish soap has to come off too down to about 1/10,000 of an ounce or it will be noticeable.
